    Ratings Breakdown:
Fox topped this Golden Globes Sunday thanks to the estimated 24.6 rating/38 share in the household overnights for the conclusion of the NFL Wildcard Game (Green Bay Packers at the Washington Redskins) from 7-8 p.m. The remaining portion of the game coverage scored an 18.3/27 in the 8 p.m. half-hour (shared with a 6.8/20 for “The Simpsons”). Individual series results for Fox are all estimated, of course, and they appear as follows:

    Fox/Sunday
    8:30 p.m. “The Simpsons”: 4.9/ 7 (#3) / “Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life”: 3.7/ 5 (#3)
    9:00 p.m. “Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life”: 2.8/ 4 (#3), “Family Guy”: 2.8/ 4 (#3)
    9:30 p.m. “Family Guy”: 2.6/ 4 (#3), “Bordertown”: 2.6/ 4 (#3)

These second episodes of “Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life” and “Bordertown” both grew from their anemic week-ago openers (“Cooper Barrett”: 1.7/ 2, “Bordertown”: 1.6/ 2) thanks to the support of football.

On NBC, “The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards,” hosted by Ricky Gervais, dominated with a 13.0/20 in the household overnights from 8-11:06 p.m., which was three percent above the 12.6/19 on the year-ago evening. Comparably, that translated into 19.31 million viewers and a 5.8 rating/16 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data. Earlier in the evening on NBC was the Golden Globes Arrival Special at a 4.9/ 8 in the 7 p.m. hour.

    Elsewhere, CBS finished third for the night with its older skewing line-up of “60 Minutes” (#2: 5.6/ 8), “Madam Secretary” (#3: 6.3/ 9), “The Good Wife” (#2: 5.2/ 8) and “CSI: Cyber” (#2: 4.1/ 7). And ABC barely registered with “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (#4: 2.5/ 4), “Galavant” (#4: 1.5/ 2) and two encore telecasts of “Quantico” (9 p.m. #4: 1.1/ 2; 10 p.m.: #3: 1.1/ 2).
