Netflix’s Narcos is making some changes for season 2.
The Golden Globe-nominated breakout drama is shaking up its showrunner position for its next chapter chronicling the life and crimes of cartel lord Pablo Escobar.
First season showrunner Adam Fierro is stepping down from the series. Fierro was in charge of the writers’ room in the first season, and did some work on season 2 as well.
Writer-producers Jose Padilha and Eric Newman will return as executive producers for next season and are working with a team of writers (nobody will carry the specific title of “showrunner”).
