21:45 - Doctor Who Christmas Special to air in US Theaters
Thanks to Boris for the heads up.
The 12th Doctor meeting his wife for the first time is kind of a big deal so it's little wonder then, that the powers that be have decided to make a big deal of it and show Alex Kingston and Peter Capaldi's first encounter on the big screen, isn't it?
For the first time, the Doctor Who Christmas special, which will premiere Christmas Day on BBC America, is also winging its way to US cinemas.
Fans in the USA can head to theatres on December 28th and 29th for a special event (beginning at 7.30 pm local time) featuring an exclusive interview with Kingston and a 15-minute behind-the-scenes "making of" featurette starring Peter Capaldi, Steven Moffat and more.
UK fans will have to content themselves with the traditional Christmas Day dose of The Doctor. This year's special finds the Tardis parked on a snowy village street some time in the future, "covered in icicles, awaiting its next adventure."

Thanks to ODA for the heads up.
What can you share about the villain of the first season, Vandal Savage?
With Vandal, with any villain, the trick is always to find somebody commensurately evil or formidable. We have an ensemble of eight-plus heroes -- you have to come up with a version of the antichrist if you want it to feel like it's anywhere close to being an even challenge between the black hats and the white hats; although in truth most of our guys are sort of gray hats. Coming up with an immortal seemed like the only way that we could have a bad guy who matched our team.
