22:20 - MOVIES: Jem And The Holograms - Pulled From All Theatres - Deemed The Worst Film Flop Since 2000
In what can only be deemed “truly outrageous,” Universal Pictures’ movie rehash of ’80s cartoon Jem has already been pulled from theatres after a mere two-week run.
Jem and the Holograms, a more saccharine and less punky version of the popular classic, pulled in a meagre $1.37 million (all figures USD) in its opening weekend.
As a result, Universal has pulled the movie entirely from theatres, in what industry insiders are calling an unprecedented move.

22:20 - Arrow - Season 4 - Brandon Routh EW Interview
Thanks to Spindae2 for the heads up.
“Ray is fighting for survival, desperately trying to get somebody to pay attention and trying to get Felicity to respond,” Routh tells EW. “Nobody understands and thinks he’s dead. It’s a complete S.O.S., with drastic measures that he’s unleashed — as much as he can do in his current situation. Damien’s motivation is to understand my technology, and then maybe when he finds out a connection, to bait whoever may be coming after me.”
Despite being MIA for more than six months, Ray doesn’t harbor animosity toward Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) over her failure to find him sooner. “She didn’t even know the experiments that I was doing,” Routh says of Palmer’s miniaturization tests. “It’s safe to say that there’s no reason for anybody to suspect that he might still be alive.”

Writer-producer Nikki Toscano has set up an untitled project produced by Eva Longoria and her UnbeliEVAble Entertainment as well as Conde Nast Entertainment. Both shows come from Universal TV where Toscano has an overall deal.

UnbeliEVAble and ABC first took a stab at developing a Texas political family drama using the article as source material last season with a different writer. 05:00 - The Clan Of The Cave Bear - Pilot - Not Moving Forward at Lifetime
The Clan Of The Cave Bear will not be moving forward at Lifetime. I hear the cable network has passed on the fantasy drama pilot after not being able to reach an agreement with studio Fox 21 TV Studios over the size of a possible episodic order. I hear the network was looking to do The Clan Of The Cave Bear as a four-hour event series, a proposition that did not work for the studio for economic reasons as Fox 21 has been seeking a regular cable series order. In light of the impasse between the two sides, I hear Fox 21 already had been quietly shopping the project, receiving some preliminary interest.
