Review:

With the rest of the gang being busy for Thanksgiving, Sheldon has to decided to ask his ex-girlfriend, Amy to go to the aquarium and go to a buffet with him. While they had an amazing time, Amy thinks they should be boyfriend and girlfriend again but he thinks they should stay friends because he does not excel in getting over her. I definitely felt bad for Amy after she fought back tears towards the end. It was surprising that he didn't want to have a relationship with her again after he invested all the time in her such as getting an engagement ring for her and doing a segment on "Fun with Flags". While it was them have scenes together, I was disappointed with the outcome in this storyline as it seemed that they were going to be back together. When I found out that Emily (Raj's girlfriend) was coming back in this week's episode, there was nothing much for her to do. She is such an awesome character, but the writers could have utilized her character better this week. At least, there was some humor with Bernadette and Howard especially when she reacted to his lack of enthusiasm of helping out in the soup kitchen for Thanksgiving. He did benefit something from it though because he got to see Elon Musk, who is famous for finding PayPal (played himself). Also, the part with Leonard begging Penny to forgive him for snooping in on her diary was entertaining. The subplots were certainly better than the Shamy storyline. I avoid spoilers for further episodes for any show especially this one. I hope that Shamy will be back together by the end of the season.
