    -Ratings Breakdown:
An encore recap edition of “The Voice” (#2: 5.7 rating/9 share in the household overnights from 9-10 p.m.) resulted in a minor loss of six percent week-to-week for NBC. But the Peacock net could still be poised for victory in adults 18-49 (and all the key young adult demographics).

In season (or series) finale news, NBC’s live — and ambitious — “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” closed with a second-place 3.5/ 5 in the household overnights from 8-9 p.m. Comparably, this was a five-week high with growth of 13 percent from one week earlier. And this should translate into close to 5-million viewers and a 1.2 to 1.3 rating in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data. While by no means a hit, “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” was not a miss either, and I personally think is worthy of a second season. Consider this variety series a positive creatively for the broadcast landscape.

“Chicago Fire,” which just had its episode order increased to 23 for the current season, capped off the night for NBC with a dominant 5.5/10 at 10 p.m.

CBS scored an easy overnight Tuesday victory care of “NCIS” (#1 for the night: 11.0/17), sophomore spin-off “NCIS: New Orleans” (8.6/13) and freshman 10 p.m. entry “Limitless” (#2: 4.9/ 9), which has a full season episode order.

In week two news, the cancellation clock has to be quickly ticking on ABC crime drama “Wicked City” (#3: 1.8/ 3), which dipped by 25 percent from it’s already DOA opener one week earlier (2.2/ 4 on Oct. 27). And that translated into a mere 3.28 million viewers and a 0.9/ 3 in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data.

Earlier in the evening on ABC was the combination of “The Muppets” (#3: 3.1/ 5), “Fresh Off the Boat” (#3: 2.9/ 4) and “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” (#3: 2.7/ 4) from 8-10 p.m. To the masses writing about the full season order for “The Muppets,” keep in mind that the pick-up is only for three additional episodes (instead of the typical nine).

Elsewhere, “The Flash” remains a solid entry on The CW at a 2.5/ 4 (#4) in the household overnights from 8-9 p.m. But sophomore “iZombie” dipped to just a 1.0/ 2 at 9 p.m., which is a loss of a too severe 60 percent. And Fox had a modest overnight Tuesday showing, as usual, with its line-up of sitcoms “Grandfathered” (#4t, 2.5/ 4 at 8 p.m.) and “The Grinder” (#5: 2.2/ 3 at 8:30 p.m.) and “Scream Queens” (#4: 1.9/ 3 at 9 p.m.), which remains a magnet in social media.
