    -Ratings Breakdown:
CBS remains the network to beat in the Tuesday household overnights care of its combination of dramas “NCIS” (#1 for the night: 10.1 rating/16 share), spin-off “NCIS: New Orleans” (#1: 7.9/12) and “Limitless” (#2: 4.8/ 8), which dipped by 21 percent from year-ago occupant “Person of Interest” (6.1/10 on 11/18/14). To the fans recently asking when “Person of Interest” is returning, there is no official date yet but 13 new episodes are on tap.

In series-premiere news, “Chicago Med,” the latest entry in the Windy City-drama franchise from Dick Wolf, was very adequately sampled with a 5.7/ 9 in the household overnights from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, this was 75 percent above failed year-ago comedies “Marry Me” (3.6/ 5) and “About a Boy” (2.9/ 4). And the overnight retention out of the 8:30 p.m. portion of young adult magnet lead-in “The Voice” (7.7/12) was 74 percent. Overall, “The Voice” scored a 7.6/12 from 8-9 p.m., which was seven percent above the 7.1/11 one week earlier.

Combined with “Chicago Fire” at 10 p.m. (#1: 5.6/10) and NBC should have no trouble dominating the evening in all the young adults demos.

Distant third-place ABC featured comedies “The Muppets” (#4: 2.5/ 4) and sophomore “Fresh Off the Boat” (#4: 2.5/ 4) from 8-9 p.m., “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” (#4: 2.5/ 4 at 9 p.m.) and a repeat of “Shark Tank” (#3: 1.9/ 3 at 10 p.m.) in place of canceled “Wicked City.” On The CW, “The Flash” (#4: 2.7/ 4) built week-to-week by eight percent in the overnights, but lead-out “iZombie” could not rise from an anemic 0.9/ 1 (#5) at 9 p.m. And Fox featured comedies “Grandfathered” (#5: 2.1/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “The Grinder” (#5: 1.7/ 3 at 8:30 p.m.) and “Scream Queens” (#4: 1.6/ 3 at 9 p.m.), which continues to score in social media despite the depressed overnights.
