  • 01:45 - The Vampire Diaries - Michael Malarkey Interview
Thanks to Sasha for the heads up.
When Enzo (Michael Malarkey) turned on Caroline (Candice King) in The Vampire Diaries premiere, we have to admit — we were heartbroken. But that decision may not be as permeant as it seems. While he’s loyal to Lily for now, Michael Malarkey revealed to HollywoodLife.com that Enzo’s not exactly against Caroline and the gang — he’s just looking for one thing: R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

“He feel like all that stuff he does, no one looks at him and is like, ‘Oh I see why you did that.’ Everyone looks at him and is like, ‘Oh c’mon Enzo,’ or ‘Why’d you do that?’ He feels like no one respects him or his choices, so I think that’s a huge part of it,” Michael told us exclusively. “And one of the ways you can achieve respect is by having a family, so his way of achieving respect is through developing family ties, which is why he’s made the choice he’s made. And what we discover later on, we find that he’s testing how much respect he actually has between Lily and the Heretics family. He wants to make sure that he’s a legit Sergeant in their army.”

  • 01:15 - House of Moore - Darkly Comedic Fashion Drama Produced by Felicity Huffman with the Possibility for Felicity to Star
ABC given a put pilot commitment to House Of Moore, a darkly comedic one-hour project set in the fashion world, which is executive produced by Felicity Huffman. The project, from creators Daniel and Ben Barnz, ABC Studios and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, is designed as a starring vehicle for American Crime leading lady Huffman.

Written and to be directed by Daniel Barnz, House Of Moore is said to be similar in tone to The Devil Wears Prada and to explore plus-size fashion. It centers on the sexy, twisted lives of an iconic fashion family, looking at our beauty-obsessed culture through a darkly comedic lens.

Huffman remains fully committed to John Ridley’s anthology series American Crime. If House Of Moore goes to series and American Crime is renewed for a third season, Huffman will topline Moore only if she could also do American Crime. That is not unconceivable as American Crime is done as a limited series, producing around 10 episodes a year. Additionally, both House Of Moore and American Crime are on the same network, ABC, and hail from the same studio, ABC Studios, making coordination easier.

  • 19:50 - Rosewood - Taye Diggs gets Multi-Episode Arc
TAYE DIGGS TO GUEST-STAR IN A MULTI-EPISODE ARC ON NEW DRAMA “ROSEWOOD”

Diggs’ First Episode Slated to Air this November

Actor Taye Diggs (“The Best Man Holiday”) will guest-star in a recurring role on the new drama ROSEWOOD, appearing in a multi-episode arc of the series.

Diggs will portray “Dr. Mike Boyce,” a world-renowned infectious disease doctor based in Miami and the longtime best friend of Dr. Beaumont Rosewood (Morris Chestnut), who is brought in to consult on a case and catches the eye of Detective Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), much to Rosewood’s surprise. The announcement marks a reunion between Diggs and Chestnut, both of whom starred in the hit feature film “The Best Man,” and its sequel, “The Best Man Holiday.” Diggs’ first appearance on ROSEWOOD is scheduled for November.

In the next all new episode of ROSEWOOD, “Vandals and Vitamins,” airing Wednesday, Oct.14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Rosewood and Villa suspect a brilliant doctor (guest star Adrian Pasdar, “Heroes”) has killed two of his patients, and they must find a way to make their case with limited evidence.

Taye Diggs recently concluded his run in the title role of Broadway’s “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” He appeared this summer in the cable drama “Murder in the First,” and has wrapped production on the upcoming feature film “One Shot,” opposite Topher Grace. Last fall, he was featured in a recurring role on the network drama “The Good Wife.” Other TV credits include “Private Practice,” “Daybreak,” “Will & Grace,” “Ally McBeal” and “Kevin Hill.” In 2013, Diggs appeared in “The Best Man Holiday,” the sequel to the hit feature comedy “The Best Man,” in which he also was featured. Additional film credits include “Baggage Claim,” “The House on Haunted Hill” and “Go.” He also is the author of two children’s books.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world’s hottest cities – Miami – new medical procedural ROSEWOOD stars Morris Chestnut (“The Perfect Guy,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Best Man” franchise) as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr., the city’s top private pathologist. Brilliant, cool with tons of charisma, Rosewood teams up with the tough-as-nails Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz, “The After”), to uncover clues no one else sees and help the Miami PD solve the city’s most challenging cases. The series comes from executive producer Todd Harthan (“Psych,” “Dominion”) and also stars Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange is the New Black”).

  • 13:00 - Quantico - Episode 1.03 - Cover - Post-Mortem with Joshua Safran
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: We learn a lot about Simon, the human question mark, in this episode. In the future timeline, we find out that Simon was kicked out of Quantico, that he’s working with Clatyon, and that he was good at a bomb exercise—
JOSH SAFRAN: Oh, I think what Alex is talking about in the future is a very specific incident that you have yet to see and that may not see for a while.

How about in the present, during their Quantico days? Where’s Simon’s head at now that Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) has called him out for giving up his fellow NATs?
Oh, I think he’s learning the lesson that the greater good isn’t necessarily something that one person can determine. I think Simon has done for himself for a very long time, but he needs to learn. What he’s done for himself, he may believe is for the greater good, and he has to come to learn that there isn’t always a place for one person to make that decision for people.

At the end of the episode we see Alex working with Simon. Does she trust him at this point?
I believe in that moment in time she does, yes. I think Alex is smart enough that she can never fully trust anybody, but I think she feels safe with him.

Either way, Simon’s still a mystery.
That is who Simon is! Simon is an enigma. He has made sure of it.

It was cool to see Alex seek out Simon in the future timeline this episode. Can you tease anything about who she’s going to see next from her past, or the “present” Quantico timeline we’re watching?
All I will say is that Alex will be interacting with everybody from the present at some point in the future. Part of the fun of the show is in seeing how people have changed from the present to the future, and so we will be meeting people constantly from the present in the future and seeing how they’ve changed, or how they haven’t.

Someone we haven’t met in the present but we just met in the future is Deputy Director Clayton. What can you tell us about his character and what we’ll be seeing from him?
He is Liam’s boss. He’s also Miranda’s boss, and he was Liam and Miranda’s boss also when they were at Quantico, so you won’t just see him in this timeline, you will see him in that timeline as well. But he interacts with everybody, not just them but also the trainees, and his story sort of folds more and more in with everybody’s. It becomes part of the tapestry of this show. He’s not just a figure coming, you know, from on high, and sort of dictates what to do. He’s more of this show than you would think.
