Leonard and Sheldon:
Sheldon and Leonard find out that rival scientists are trying to get helium and steal their theory of vortex. This causes them to get any necessary materials they need. Through one of Howard's contacts, Kenny (played by Michael Rapaport) offers to sell them helium for an amount of money. They hesitate especially Sheldon who threatens to take on Kenny. Finally, they give the money to Kenny and they get the helium they want. Later on, they realize that purchasing helium from an outside source was against the rules. Therefore, they requested to have their money back. Unfortunately, for the men, not only will they not receive a refund, but they will also have to pay a restocking fee. Barry Kripke offers to give the men the helium, but the catch is that they must put his name to the paper. They drop his offer and repurchase the helium. In the end, the men AND Kenny watch "Ernest Goes to Jail".
Amy:
Meanwhile, Penny and Bernadette find out that Stuart went on a date with two women. He reveals to them that he got those dates from a dating app on his phone. This causes the ladies to download an app on Amy's phone. The rest of the gang try to find Amy a compitable guy for her. To do so, they connect her phone to the TV. In a surprise twist, the gang find out that Amy is seeing a guy named "Dave". Her friends are really happy that she is finding true love.
Ending:
Overall, it was an entertaining episode, but not memorable due to the Leonard and Sheldon's storyline, which moved slow for me. However, Amy's part, without a doubt, was the best this week. I love how she got offended when her friends were making fun of these guys that were showing up on her dating app. I never saw it coming that Amy was interested in another guy, but I'm really happy for her. I hope "Dave" will show up very soon.
