Lenny (Leonard and Penny) and Sheldon:
Sheldon gets a reality check that his roommate Leonard will move in with Penny now that they are married. He doesn't take it very well and he must look for another roommate. However, that doesn't go well and his attempts to ask Amy as a roommate fails miserably. He still hasn't gotten over why they aren't together anymore. Just as Lenny give him some food in an attempt to cheer him up, they are shocked to see most of the stuff moved to another place in the apartment. She feels terrible about him depressed. Therefore, she suggests that Leonard and her should spend some nights in the apartment to give him company. Leonard doesn't agree until she brings up that they should think of him as if he were a dog. Leonard reluctantly agrees to her idea. The roommate agreement is back to normal that Leonard and Sheldon are roommates again, but Leonard will spend some nights with Penny in her apartment.
Raj/Emily and Howard:
Meanwhile, Raj and Howard want to form a band together after Stuart wanted a band for his comic book store. They suggest a silly song about Thor and Indiana Jones meeting together. This causes Raj to personally to sing for Emily. Unfortunately, this doesn't go as planned when he doesn't take the cute comment from her as a compliment. He later admits he sang that song to Emily and it didn't go well. Therefore, he suggests that they should create a song that everyone can dance to, which Howard disagrees. This causes the two men to argue and the band is broken up. A few seconds later, it seems that band is back after the men hug.
My Thoughts:
For the second episode in a row this season, this was definitely one of the better episodes so far. In fact, this season seems to be more tolerable than the disappointing season 8. I love how Bernadette was able to give great advice to Sheldon and when Penny was such a great friend to him as well. Also, Emily was my favorite this week. She treats Raj so well. They are so perfect together. Overall, season 9 (while not it's best ever) is getting better in quality so far.
