"Miss You"
Worried about the lack of family in her baby Luke’s life, Dr. Alex Reid (Erica Durance) gets more than she bargained for when Kyle Sawyer (Yani Gellman, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS), the man responsible for her deceased brother’s drug problem, is admitted to Hope Zion Hospital with a life or death stomach complication. Unable to be objective, Alex quickly gives away the surgery, but when a second surgeon is required for the operation Alex must struggle to save the life of the man who ruined her brother’s. Meanwhile, when Elizabeth Grant (Charlotte Sullivan, ROOKIE BLUE), the victim of a horrific acid attack, is rushed to surgery, Dr. Cassie Williams (Kim Shaw, THE GOOD WIFE) struggles to remain objective, putting the life of her patient at risk. It’s up to Dr. Dana Kinney (Wendy Crewson) to teach the young surgeon to put aside her own feelings and focus on the medicine in order to save their patient’s life. In the E.R., Dr. Zach Miller (Benjamin Ayres) must get a patient suffering from self-imposed psycho-paralysis to confront her past to regain the use of her legs.
