Blackish - Episode 2.06 - June Buggin - Press Release

ON HALLOWEEN, THE COUSINS COME TO TOWN TO TOUGHEN UP THE JOHNSON KIDS AND DRE GETS A SURPRISE VISIT FROM COUSIN JUNE BUG (GUEST STAR MICHAEL STRAHAN), ON ABC’S “black-ish”

“June Buggin’” – Ever since he was a kid, Dre has loved Halloween. Now that he lives in one of those “good candy neighborhoods,” kids come from all over the city to trick-or-treat, including Dre’s own nieces and nephews. The cousins are known for roughhousing and The Johnson kids aren’t happy when they come around, but Dre feels his kids could use some toughening. Meanwhile, Dre gets a surprise visit from his own cousin, June Bug, who used to torment Dre as a kid, on “black-ish,”

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Halloween VI: Tick Tock Death” – Halloween finds the Hecks in their own “Twilight Zone”- type stories, with Brick providing an introduction to each, on “The Middle,” WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Middle” stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl,

Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are Brooke Shields as Rita Glossner, Gibson Bobby Sjobeck as diaper Glossner, Casey Burke as Cindy, Alphonso McAuley as Hutch, Tommy Bechtold as Kenny, Pedro Correa as skateboard kid, Austin Mincks as guy, Ellen Geer as Cynthia and Carole Gutierrez as confused lady.

“Walk the Swine” – Miss Piggy and Reese Witherspoon have a heated rivalry but when the two volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, their feud escalates to a whole new level. Meanwhile, Fozzie and his girlfriend hit a rough patch, on “The Muppets,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“The Muppets” stars Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, Pepe the King Prawn, Rizzo, Scooter, Rowlf and The Electric Mayhem.

Guest starring: Reese Witherspoon as herself and Ricki Lindhome as Becky.

“Walk the Swine” story was written by Dave Caplan and Steve Rudnicl the teleplay was written by Gregg Mettler and Nell Scovell. The episode was directed by Randall Einhorn.
