10:40 - Alycia Debnam-Carey Talks Fear The Walking Dead & The 100 Season 3
Thanks to Daniel for the heads up.
Did you watch the original "Walking Dead”?
I hadn't watched it before, but once the [“Fear”] gig arrived, I was like, "I'd better investigate the world a little bit.” And then I became addicted to it, very quickly.
Is that the kind of thing you gravitate to usually?
No, I never thought this post-apocalyptic drama genre was something I was going to fall into, but it turns out, that's basically all I do now. [laughs] It's my niche. It's really fun. But I remember the phone call [about auditioning for "Fear the Walking Dead”]. "I don't know if that's really my thing -- the zombies, lots of blood and gore. I'm not good with that."
What can you say about Season 3? How many episodes will you be in?
I can't say. But I just read the first script, I'm very excited to go up and see everyone.
I’m sure Clarke will be excited to see Lexa. Won't that be a fun reunion?
Not so much. [laughs] Eliza and I will have a great time, but ... I think people will really enjoy it, the way it pans out. There's a great scene for Lexa's introduction [in Season 3].
In the first episode back, will Clarke and Lexa have a scene together?
I can't say. But there's a great [Lexa] scene in that episode.

01:05 - MOVIES: Ready Player One - Shortlist Includes Elle Fanning, Olivia Cooke & Lola Kirke for the Female Lead
Elle Fanning, “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” star Olivia Cooke and “Mistress America” breakout Lola Kirke are three of the top contenders for the female lead in Steven Spielberg‘s adaptation of Ernie Cline‘s “Ready Player One,” multiple individuals familiar with the casting situation told TheWrap.
Fanning, Cooke and Kirke will test for the role of Art3mis, the avatar of Samantha Cook within the Oasis, which is the virtual reality universe at the center of the sci-fi story.
Insiders insist it’s early in the casting process and that casting director Ellen Lewis is narrowing the field for Spielberg so he can move quickly once he’s able to turn his attention away from “Bridge of Spies” and “The BFG.” Two other actresses are believed to be on the initial shortlist, though their identities remain a mystery.

01:00 - Agents of SHIELD - Brett Dalton Interview
Where Clark Greg‘s Coulson was taken under the wing of Nick Fury and primed to become S.H.I.E.L.D’s eventual Director, Dalton’s Ward was whisked away from juvie during his formative years and groomed by John Garrett into the deceitful double agent that was revealed in the back half of Season 1.
Both Coulson and Ward blindly followed their respective leaders and trusted them implicitly, which ended up largely being responsible for their personal issues and arguable downfalls. Coulson was killed and resurrected against his wishes while Ward was locked away in solitary confinement and forced to take much of the responsibility for Hydra’s infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D.
There’s no doubt that Ward’s trustworthiness has declined with each episode since his cold-blooded murdering of Victoria Hand. Once he stepped, “Out of the shadows and into the light,” Ward almost immediately became an individual that characters and viewers alike began to perceive as a villain.

01:00 - MOVIES: Artemis Fowl - Kenneth Branagh and Conor McPherson Developing Adaption for Disney
After spending years in development limbo, Disney’s adaptation for “Artemis Fowl” may have found new life.
Sources tell Variety that Kenneth Branagh has signed on to develop the property and is attached to direct an adaptation of the popular YA novel for Disney, with Irish playwright Conor McPherson in talks to pen the script.
The project is still in early development as McPherson has yet to close a deal to adapt, but signs are pointing to in the right direction for the film to move forward.
Written by Eoin Colfer, the series follows the brilliant and cunning 12-year-old eponymous criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl II, whose plot to extort gold from the secret Fairy People puts him directly in the cross-hairs of some of the most dangerous creatures on earth. Over the series, Fowl becomes a sort of anti-hero rather than a full-fledged villain, often having to work together with the fairies to stop a slew of treacherous megalomaniacs.
