Scene Of The Week - September 13, 2015 + POLL

A weekly feature in which we're trying to find the most compelling, best acted, written, directed and just generally great, memorable scenes that we've seen in past seven days on TV.

CONTINUUM, "Rush Hour", September 11, 2015, Actors: Rachel Nichols, Victor Webster and more, The Scene: The fight sequence as Kiera saves Kellog
Justyna K:
That was a brilliant sequence. Emily's fight to get free with a little help from Alec, Carlos vs. Travis and Kiera drowning Kellog to save his life - all happening at once. Also, Dillon, that was a great timing. Intense, really well directed and edited scene. Impressive work from the entire Continuum team. Kudos! I can't believe there are only four new episodes left. What a great story it has been!

DOMINION, "House of Sacrifice", September 10, 2015, Actors: Tom Wisdom, Carl Beukes and more, The Scene: The final scene
Justyna K:
So many things happened in the final minutes of the episode. Makes the waiting for the next one much more exciting. We've got David, finally arrested, not that I expect it to last. Claire officially ends the V-system. Gen. Edward Riesen, now a Dyad, prepares to lead angel army against Vega. Michael wakes up and lets Alex know what he found out, that Lucifer is still alive and possibly getting ready to join the fight. And Gabriel releases the amphora (containing the Plague of Darkness). This was a brilliant sequence and it sure seems like things are about to change. Can't wait to see what's next! Kudos!

RAY DONOVAN, "The Octopus", September 6, 2015, Actors: Liev Schreiber, Dash Mihok and more
The Scene: Ray gives Bunchy's wedding speech (picked by Darth Locke)

THE LAST SHIP, "A More Perfect Union", September 6, 2015, Actors: Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, The Scene: Captain Chandler and Dr. Scott say goodbye
Darth Locke:
Dressed their number ones, with Captain Chandler in his full Navy attire and Dr. Scott in a stunning gown, the pair take a moment alone in the hall to farewell each other as they prepare to embark on their next journey. This was a beautiful scene that really displayed how close this pair have actually come despite the considerable friction they've experienced this season. For a show that I was really uncertain about how it would manage a second season, I've been pleasantly surprised how good it's actually been. Needless to say it's on my summer schedule in 2016.
