Devious Maids - Renewed For A 4th Season

A month after Devious Maids finished airing its third season, the soapy mystery drama has been picked for Season 4. It joins recently renewed freshman Unreal as Lifetime’s only current scripted series.

The renewal comes after a stable Season 3 performance, which Lifetime EVP Liz Gateley summed up as, “Devious Maids is a steady hit that continues to deliver for us. It has found a loyal audience that is socially engaged with the show.” Indeed, Devious Maids‘ third season launched with 1.47 million viewers in Live+Same Day and ended with a 1.53 million. What’s more, the series wrapped the season with an uptick, hitting season highs with the last two episodes (1.52 million, 1.53 million). In addition to total viewers, the August 24 finale also logged season highs among adults 25-54 and women 25-54.

Devious Maids, from ABC Studios and executive producers Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria, stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramírez, Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes and Susan Lucci. It is set in a world where murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty and downright as devilish as their employers.

Inspired by the hit telenovela, Ellas son… la alegría del hogar, Devious Maids was created by Cherry and is executive produced by Cherry, Sabrina Wind, Longoria, Brian Tanen, Larry Shuman, David Lonner, John Mass, Ric Swartzlander and Televisa USA’s Paul Presburger and Michael Garcia.
