Shawn Hatosy (Southland, Fear The Walking Dead) has joined Scott Speedman and Ellen Barkin in the cast of TNT’s drama pilot Animal Kingdom, from John Wells Prods. in association with Warner Horizon Television.
The pilot centers on 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody (Finn Cole), who moves in with his wild, freewheeling grandmother (Barkin) and uncles in their Southern California beach town after his mother ODs. He is pulled into their life of indulgence and excess and soon discovers that it’s all being funded by the bank robberies they commit.
Hatsoy will play Pope, fresh out of prison, and the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody Boys. A volatile man, Pope did time for a bank robbery in which he was the only one captured, and the time he spent inside has made him harder and angrier, and even less predictable.

03:45 - MOVIES: Star Wars - Han Solo Anthology - Details: Tone/Casting
Thanks to darthlocke4 for the heads up.
"I think the key here is that we are identifying an event or events in Han Solo’s life that gives you some idea of who he is and why he is the character we have all known to love…You can imagine, given who we’ve chosen to come in and direct, it should be very entertaining and funny. Han Solo is the character inside Star Wars that everybody knows has a wit and sense of humor. So that’s what this should be."
The screenplay for the Han Solo movie is written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan and will focus on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.
"“He’ll definitely be probably in the high teens, low 20s,” she says. “We’re not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo.”

03:15 - Secrets and Lies - Season 2 - MyFanbase Kenny Johnson interview
Thanks to Philomina for the heads up.
Q: You're gonna be on season 2 which is gonna be connected with season 1 only through Cornell (Juliette Lewis). And we've learnt you're gonna be someone with a mission who stops at nothing. What are you most excited about?
A: Just that! You don't know why he's there, he's looking for something. He's a New York cop who goes off the grid. I can't really tell you the backstory because obviously I don't wanna give anything away. But because of him going after what he's after he becomes one of the suspects in this murder they try to solve in the 10 episodes. He's kind of mysterious, ambiguous, supposed to be thuggish, menacing, and he shows up at all the worst times for the other characters so he makes them uncomfortable and then eventually it's gonna unfold who he is and why he's there. So it's kinda cool, I think it's great.

The project, from Endemol Shine Studios and Christina Wayne’s Assembly Entertainment, is for straight-to-series consideration, with penalty attached if it doesn’t get a green light.
Debt centers on a man who, having lost everything important to him, decides to partner with the head of a somewhat-fraudulent collection agency and get back at the rich who steal from the poor.
