Suits - Uninvited Guests - Review

Uninvited guests is divided by Rachel and Mike's problems and Hardman coming back to regain the power of the firm. The season 2 vibes the show had until now, reaches it's point, plot wise, recycling an old story line but with a new complication.

Harvey's fate about his suspension goes better than expected after he gives a heartfelt speech and decides to share half of his compensation bonus with the rest of the partners. But just when we were getting used to Jack Soloff looking like a nice guy, he sees the opportunity to stab the managing partners in the back and asks for Hardman to return.  Cut to Hardman bothering Donna, and making it sound like she is a toy to be won between Louis and Harvey. She has enough and threatens him to call security before she punches him. (She should have)

Hardman goes to Jessica and explains how he's going to take the firm from her. He signed a big client who will buy every little client she has. One of those clients is McKernon Motors. While Louis is busy, trying to find out what Hardman has on Soloff that's making him turn on them; Mike and Harvey find a solution to make this thing go away. With a parallel montage we see them making Jonathan Sidwell and Tony Giannopoulos agreeing to back them up. They go out to celebrate, but not before throwing this win into Hardman's face. Of course this will backfire somehow. Which leads Harvey to visit Forstman, who is backing the ex managing partner devious plan. But what Forstman really wants, is to see Harvey completely defeated, he backs away if Harvey quits. The same happens to Jessica, Soloff meets her, cockily thinking she'll offer him to be managing partner, only to taste a piece of what happens when she's angry. He doesn't give in, she doesn't either, and he believes she'll be kicked out of her own firm.

Meanwhile Rachel spends the episode trying to keep everything her mother tries to do for her weeding from happening;  if Laura Zane acts on what she believes her daughter wants, Mike's secret will be out. Finally Mike gets blindsided by his future mother in law, and it ends with him confronting Rachel; she's keeping things from him. The thing is, if she gets her dream wedding he's in danger of getting caught.
Mike meets with Trevor, who now seems to be a good guy, and tells him to quit being a fraud if he wants to be happy and have a life with Rachel. This scene parallels last week's with Claire, he has a choice to make.  (And Rachel a plot to get back too, because remember she's in law school, smart attorney to be?)

The episode ended with Jessica, Harvey and Mike at a cross-hairs. Every little problem, enemy and family comment the season brought on lead to this. Together they might win, but before that, they have life changing decisions to make. With just one episode left before the show goes into hiatus I don't think the conflict will be resolved but instead we are gonna have the cliffhanger of how things will develop.
