NBC is developing Red, an hourlong series based on the movie franchise. The TV adaptation hails from the films’ creative auspices — Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber, who wrote the 2010 hit and its 2013 sequel, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, who produced both movies. Lionsgate TV, whose sibling Summit distributed the features, is producing with Di Bonaventura Pictures Television.
