“Sarah Shahi should be back by episode 5,” PERSON OF INTEREST co-showrunner Greg Plageman shared. “She’s a trooper man, she’s doing a lot. But she’s ready to go, she says I want to be back, and we’re very excited to have her."
“We could actually see her even earlier,” Plageman shared. “In the production [she’s filming episode 5]. We have a very flexible air date schedule, so we may monkey with that.”
“I know what the fans want; I think it’s important to give the fans what they want, because I feel like they’ve been down that Root and Shaw journey for so long,” Shahi acknowledged. “They got a kiss last year, which is good. We’ll see what this year brings. I love working with Amy. She and I feel very mutually about each other, so I hope we get to flirt with that dynamic.”
