18th September 2015 - More Cast Announced Including Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, and William Levy
The cast of the closing chapter of Screen Gems’ Resident Evil franchise has grown with the addition of Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, and William Levy. The film stars Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter, with Paul W.S. Anderson directing his script. It picks up where Resident Evil: Retribution leaves off, as Project Alice races against time to stop the villainous Red Queen from destroying the final remnants of humanity.
Shooting starts this month in South Africa. Impact Pictures’ Jeremy Bolt, Constantin Film’s Robert Kulzer, Davis-Films’ Samuel Hadida, and Anderson are producing and Martin Moszkowicz is executive producer.

18th August 2015 - Ali Larter And Wentworth Miller Returning
The plot of the upcoming film was not yet revealed. However, Movie Web reported that production will be set in South Africa. It will feature Ali Larter as Claire Redfield. The cast will also include stars Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, Bingbing Li as Ada Wong, Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine, and Johann Urb as Leon Scott Kennedy. Director Paul W.S. Anderson's plans to film the installment in 3D.

28th April 2014 - Jovovich And Li Set To Reprise Roles
While the sixth Resident Evil film was originally slated for a September 2014 premiere in theaters, that schedule seems unlikely given the lack of any production on the project up to this point. Anderson was confirmed as the director back in March 2013, and it’s expected that franchise star Milla Jovovich will return as Alice. Last year, Jovovich indicated that she expected a 2015 release for the film. Beyond Jovovich and Bingbing, there haven’t been any additional casting announcements.
