Buckle up for another intriguing jump into the world of Dark Matter. This episode will see the crew find their way to another space station which results in another trip that doesn’t go quote as planned. I’m starting to think the crew is just better off avoiding interacting with anyone else because it never ends well for them. However, it does make for great television as the characters have to figure a way out of the precarious positions they find themselves in. This episode takes viewers on an emotion rollercoaster ride filled with deceit and adventure. Keep reading to find out what is ahead for each of the beloved crew.

One seems to want more from his fling with Two then she does. As is to be expected he wants them to be more official while Two has other ideas. By episodes end everyone will have a fairly decent idea of why One is so clingy. He has a particularly painful event in his past that seems to have left a huge impact on him. We also learn why One worked so hard to join the Raza. The reveal is a game changer that will forever alter his connection to another among the crew.

Two has a lot to deal with as she has to manage the ship without the aid of The Android. As they dock at the space station Two’s skills are called into question and she proves just how capable a leader she is. When Six takes off on his own she is forced to face his deceit which forces her to take a hard look at her own deceitful actions of late. Two’s past has been protected and hidden from us, but I think we’re nearing some major revelations about her. They’ve spent a lot of time building up her story without telling us a single thing, so I can’t wait to see what is hiding in her past.

Three has secluded himself in the wake of Sarah’s death. A moving speech from an unlikely crewmate gets him back in the game. While knowing Sarah changed him the Three we’ve all come to love and sometimes hate still shines through from time to time. He gets some great lines, but his time is spent trying to avoid getting himself into trouble. We do get to learn a small snippet from his past and it certainly won't aid in his redemption.

Four is paired up with One as they try and recover the rogue Six. Watch for a scene where Four gets them a deal on a particular service by making an interesting claim. I found it to be one of the best moments he’s had yet, simply because of how matter of fact Alex chose to deliver the lines. This episode makes some very conscious decisions that very nicely setup his upcoming story. We get to meet someone from his past whom seems poised to play a big part in his future.

Five is, without doubt, closest to Two and Six, but after the last space station incident she has been pulled away from Two and pushed towards Six. While she was quick to distance herself from Two for a bit she stands firm in her support of Six despite things she learns about him. Events throughout the episode seem to indicate that her idolization of him may not be infallible. While she is closest to them, her most important bond continues to be with The Android, whom she is still watching over. When her friend comes back online she has an encounter with The Android that teaches them both an important emotional lesson. Every interaction they have provides amazing growth for them both and this scene is no exception.

Six acts on his plans to look more into his past and it puts the lives of all the crew in danger. The way he chooses to partake on this journey will surprise a lot of people. This was setup several episodes back and it was an ingenuous way for the show to explore more of Six’s past life. We meet several shady characters from his past and not all of them may be whom they seem. This is a big episode for Six and no one will view him in the same light after this episode.

The Android is sidelined this week as she is still healing after the events of last week. As I mentioned above, she does share an important scene with Five that teaches her something very shocking about herself. The Android thinks she is perfect, but is she? How does one define perfect? The Android must discern her own understanding of perfection. I think her thought processors are going to be put into heavy use once her body is done healing. The Android respects Two and is loyal to her, but she is also not afraid to deliver a hard truth that forces Two to face down her own hypocrisy. The few scenes she has tonight are very important to her evolution as a character and fans of The Android will enjoy seeing the direction the show seems to be taking her.

A lot happens in this episode, including the reveal of a secret that one of the crew has been keeping and this reveal happens in a less than ideal way. While the reveal does cause problems they aren’t quite what this person, or viewers, were expecting. The crew faces a setback in their ability to work as a unified front. Can they learn to work together without their secrets causing problems? Will they be able to put aside the things they’ve learned about each other and forge ahead? Only time will tell, but don’t miss tonight’s episode because it is a big one for characters like Four and Six who have sat on the sidelines in recent weeks.

Tune in tonight on SyFy at 10/9C to watch this revelation filled episode. Keep an eye on SpoilerTV for Lindsey’s review of this episode.
