DONNY! (Season 1: 6 eps – Tuesday, November 10 @ 10:30/9:30c)
This half-hour soft scripted comedic series, starring Donny Deutsch, takes a satirical look at the media, wealth and modern romance through the eyes of Deutsch’s fictionalized character of the same name. It is based on the real-life famed ad man, single dad and TV personality. Each week, as the host of a successful daytime talk show, Donny preaches from a holier-than-thou pulpit and dispels advice about a variety of issues. But off the camera, as Donny navigates life as a single dad and TV personality, we find that he’s a filterless rogue who lives in hilarious contrast to almost everything he espouses publicly. DONNY! is executive produced by Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman and Angie Day of Left/Right (“Odd Mom Out,” “Mob Wives,” “Small Town Security”) and Deutsch. DONNY! also stars Emily Tarver (“Sisters”).
