Scottie Thompson (Skyline, Star Trek) has been cast in a recurring role on Syfy’s drama series 12 Monkeys. Based on the 1995 Terry Gilliam movie, the series stars Aaron Stanford as a time-traveling virus hunter from 2043 trying to save the world’s population from a plague that hit in 2017.
Thompson will play Mantis, a calculating and menacing time traveler who moves between 2043 and the 1940s as she battles Cole (Stanford) and Ramse (Kirk Acevedo) for control of the future and human history. Thompson’s other TV credits include The Blacklist, Trauma and Brotherhood.
