I know, but still, for a 1.2 I expected a viewership of something like 5 million, not 8. It got a similar rating o UTD's season premiere, but more viewers with it
I expected something like mid 1s so this is disappointing. There's not much room for it to fall, even though the ratings may not be the determining factor in a renewal decision.
I'm saying that Extant's second season premiere will be way lower than Zoo's and UTD's premieres this year. Extant will hit 0.6s before the end of the summer.
With the rich Netflix deal, I'm sure CBS is fine with those numbers. I think more people now are recording summer programming and going out. Not too many young folks are staying in and watching live TV.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Weak start, but it doesn't even matter.
ReplyDeleteDidn't expect Zoo to skew old
ReplyDeleteNetflix deal? Does the deal include the UK Netflix too?
ReplyDeleteUS Netflix only.
ReplyDeleteIt's on CBS, the old viewers channel.

Exactly as I predicted. Kinda knew it wouldn't that well.
ReplyDeleteWait till you hit your 50's and someone says old,ha!
ReplyDeleteHas anybody watched Zoo? Is it good? 8 million sounds good to me, just that 1.2 doesn't play along
ReplyDeleteslow to start and then just creepy. I changed the station
ReplyDeleteD'oh. Ugh.... After all of that promoting CBS did for months....
ReplyDeleteNot what I expected. I mean 8 million is pretty solid but only a 1.2? I'd expect it to be a bit younger skewing. Here's to an positive adjustment!
Wow, that's low. Extant premiere will be way worse though.
ReplyDeleteThis was lower than Extant's Season 1 Premiere, that's pretty sad lol.

ReplyDeleteThat's very low for Zoo. Although, I'm not that surprised as it was a tough concept to market from the start.
ReplyDeleteI'd be surprised if Extant breaks a 0.8. And if that's the case, all three CBS dramas struggled as Under The Dome's 1.3 was not great either.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice seeing them all struggle.

ReplyDeleteNot impresive but good. What has been the biggest numbers for a show in summer seaon?

ReplyDeleteI liked Zoo, can't wait to see the story unfold.
ReplyDeleteOh no, that doesn't sound good :( I just hope it doesn't fall as much as The Whispers
ReplyDeleteNot terrible... but with the streaming deal it should suffice...
