Well that answers that then. I'm looking forward to this though it should be really good :) Been waiting for the Abbies to invade the town since we found out about them!
If he were the only one? I think he'd commit suicide. I'd rather see him go out by his own free will, instead of getting eaten by those horrible creatures.
Intense yet acceptable. Lol That's how I'd want it to end. The whole town taken out by the Abbies. Ethan, Teresa, and Ben run for their lives. They hide for a minute, get their "i'm sorry's, I love you's and goodbyes" out. Ethan goes to find Pilcher. (He tells them he'll be back) Few minutes later Abbies go to where Teresa and Ben are. They defend themselves but fail. Ethan finds Pilcher, Pichler tries to explain himself, but Ethan is over his shit. So he throws him out the window, leaving him to get eaten. Ethan runs back to his family, finds them dead. Defends himself against the Abbies that killed them, HE kills the Abbies, then kills himself.
The last shot is of the burning, "Welcome To Wayward Pines" sign while the town is inferno.
I'd be happy with that ending :) Leaving one or some alive in the end and not showing what happens to them would annoy me. That sort of thing happens way too often.
Great episode. Judging by the title of the final episode and going with my considerable gut instinct, I expect that the town goes the way it did 14 years ago with Pilcher seeing the town in ruins, the only one left alive and having to start over by thawing out a new batch of people. Round No. 3! Or he gives up by seeing everyone die before him, then walks out of his mountain retreat to be eaten alive by the Abbies - therefore giving up on humanity as he knew it.
I really hope they are able to bring this to a conclusion without any cliffhangers. I just have a really bad feeling that this show will end on a cliffhanger and guess what it's the final episode ever.
Yeah... I'd rather it be left to being remember as this awesome mini series than have it be stretched and dragged out into something that's not nearly as god as it used to be.
This show is based off a trilogy book series, and they've already covered all three books, and since the beginning they've said it's only going to be a 10 episode event. It will not end on a cliffhanger. No worries.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Here come the Abbies. Time for 'all you can eat human'.
ReplyDeleteI'm so nervous! Hope they have enough guns.
ReplyDelete"Series finale"

I just want Ethan to survive last. If he's going to go out, he should be last. But I hope he survives.
ReplyDeleteI'm not bothered either way but I wonder what he'd actually do if he survived with the town in complete ruins.
ReplyDeleteIf he were the only one? I think he'd commit suicide. I'd rather see him go out by his own free will, instead of getting eaten by those horrible creatures.
ReplyDeleteThat would be such an intense ending. I wouldn't mind it though.

END. = D
Bravo!
ReplyDelete*Takes a Bow* Thank you. Thank You. ; )
ReplyDeleteSeries finale?! I thought that there were 3 books? Damnit!
ReplyDeleteThe first book is ep. 1-5. The next two are episodes 6-10.
ReplyDeleteNoooo FOX, damnit, I wanted this show to get a season 2.. -.-
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy with that ending :) Leaving one or some alive in the end and not showing what happens to them would annoy me. That sort of thing happens way too often.
ReplyDeleteOnly happens with cliffhangers. In this case, it's a closed series, so why not? Hahahaha And thank you.
ReplyDeleteSad news, but this might be good. If there was a second season, it could turn out as bad as Under the dome.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sad....
ReplyDelete"Viewer discretion advised" let the fun begin!

ReplyDeleteI just want Pilcher and Hope Davis' character to die super brutal deaths...
