Some of these choices are hilarious. Empire, The Flash, How To Get Away, Scandal, OUAT, Arrow are 100% getting renewed. A lot of other choices are pretty much safe bets like B99, Elementary and AOS.
One of my choices was The 100, sadly. As much as I love the show, the CW have way more shows than they need and I doubt they're gonna keep anything as low rated as The 100.
As much as I hate it, it's 99% sure Person of Interest will be canceled by CBS. That's why we need everyone to watch the show on Netflix US this fall! I really hope The 100 will get at least another season but the ratings aren't good, so we'll see. CSI Cyber should have been canceled already. The Good Wife is probably going to end unless CBS pushes for more. But the original plan was 7 seasons. OUaT will most likely get renewed but this is a personal wish of mine to see it canceled. A show that conveys so many problematic messages to the audience and who doesn't deal with its issues should have no place on air.
I know POI is likely toast which makes me very sad. Reign should be cancelled because of ratings, but it's starting season three, so the syndication Gods will probably step in and save it. I think Castle may go not because of ratings but because the cast is done. Some of the choices are highly unlikely. I don't think Empire or HTGAWM can fall far enough to be in danger.
Other than POI which is only given 13 episodes I think None listed will be cancelled even Mysteries of Laura which is a package deal to NBC from Warner Television. Many of the weak shows now are partnered with stronger shows and are sold to the networks as packages.
I'm sorry you didn't like it anymore. I still love the show, and I want more Ichabood and Abbie on my screen, they are an incredible team and the show is still very interesting in my opinion ;)
It's normal, this happened to me too. I lost interest in Revenge in season 4, but it's still one of my favourite shows. I lost interest in PLL too, this Charles mystery has been too long...
I understand, but season 3 started with a 2.6, not so higher than a 2.2/2.3. Despite this, season 3 stayed very steady, so we can't predict any rating right now ;)
It may be pretty far back because they renewed it like a month before they had even started showing THIS season. So it got renewed with zero ratings information. I don't know what fairy godmother waved their wand at BATB, but she deserves a raise.
I think POI,Msybe Madame Sec plus Msybe Blue Bloods,Cyber for CzbS.For NBC-MoL& possibly Grimm..Abc-sadly probably Nashville& maybe S&L.Fox-Slerpy Hollow. For CW,Aroow & Flash do too well so not them & I belve Reign will get a fourth, final season so I'd guess The 100.(ratings dropped end if s2,nowhere near syndication).
I think the fourth season was very weak and the first half was badly written. When they finally concentrated on Emily and her identity again, it was awesome including victoria's fake murder and emily's revalation!
Well if you are counting cancelled as those who actually reach a series finale, planned, then Castle and POI have a huge chance. My vote's for Bones, considering those which I see.
I won't really say that Elementary is pretty much safe. Speically that they are now on season 4, it could mean that they get cancelled. Because after s4 most contracts are getting renewed, means more money for the actors and I don't see that CBS would afford it with the rating they brought so far.
Certain Renewals: Reign, Grey's Anatomy, Elementary, Scandal, Agents of Shield, Arrow, How to Get Away with Murder, Empire, The Blacklist, Chicago Fire, The Flash
Likely Renewals: CSI Cyber, Madam Secretary, Once Upon a Time, The 100, Grimm, Blue Bloods, Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Toss-Ups: Sleepy Hollow, Castle, Nashville, H50, Secrets and Lies, The Last Man on Earth, The Good Wife, American Crime, Agent Carter,
Likely Cancellations: The Mysteries of Laura, Person of Interest, Bones,
CBS knows what they are doing with Cyber and MS even if we do not understand it. I say if they were profitable enough in Season 1 they will continue to be for the next few years.
Netflix deal offers huge bonus for shows making it to a 4th season regarding of the # episodes so I think The 100 is fine no matter what. For the CW shows, # season actually matters more than # of episodes.
MAOS is a certain as it gets, it will reach a 4th season in 2016/2017, there is no way it doesn't get renewed. I think it is more of a sure thing than OUAT.
I think if Sleepy Hollow can do at least 1.5 the whole season it will get at least one more renewal, I guess it kinda also depends on fan reaction to s3.
I am not rooting for it, but I think it is time for it to leave. It airs during one of the best timeslots on television yet can hardly manage to get a 1.4 I think new shows deserve that spot now and as revenge, Nashville should end after its fourth season. They cancelled revenge when it was getting 1.1/ 1.2s on Sunday at 10pm which is the worst timeslot ever, so to justify that, IMO nashville should be cancelled. It even has a very decent lead-in! I do watch the show every now and then, it is not bad but still. I know it sounds mean though
You might be right. I can't remember my renewal predictions and don't have access to them currently, but I might have predicted a renewal for Nashville. Just a short fifth season will get them to 100 episodes.
I think Castle could go either way, but I'm predicting it to be cancelled.
I agree with most of this. Isn't B99 going into its third season though? I'd say that makes it pretty safe. I don't think it will be another The Mindy Project.
I think Elementary is safe because of the crazy syndication deal it has, CBS make a lot of money from that. Contracts could be an issue though but I think it will be OK
Reign and Sleepy Hollow, in fact is a miracle have them in TV yet. Reign´s plot is a nonsense and SH never got the main couple together, two deceptions.
While I am reasonably confident CBS knows what it is doing and that they will bring MS to syndication, at least there is the millers precedent there, so I think it is more understandable than reign.
My very wild guess is that one will be canceled and the other renewed, baring an extreme season for ABC rookies (either too successful or too terrible). But it's possible both could be renewed or both could be canceled, I need to see more of the season, hence why I put both as toss ups.
I felt the same way about season 2 overall :). I think you're right that season 3 will determine the show's future-I hope it can bounce back and get itself at least another season beyond the upcoming one, if not more. But I won't be surprised if next season does wind up being its last. Crossing my fingers with you all the same, though.
Reign is a season from syndication and besides p,it or quality Dosent factor into renewal/cancellations just money. As for SH I heard Abbie/Ichabod will never get together romantically so the showrunner says plus Ichabods married
Are you kidding?Greys s12 isn't yet announced as the last andit will get a preannoced final season plus it still good ratings for its age and Empire is a humongous ratings hit-it won't be getting soon,Evfn if declines next season,it still has a lot if room to fall before bring cancellation terrotirity.Murder was a hit last season too,POI probably will be cancelled but as CBzs hasn't yet announced it the final season,it should be on this poll
Its not a matter of opinion its a matter of facts. Do u honestly think that they would cancel Empire? Why would they cancel a show that gets 5.0s? its common sense.
Yes it's a matter of opinion, not of fact!!!! If you see the name of this article says Poll, that means everybody can vote and give their opinion, no just those who know what show will be cancelled and what show has what ratings. So yes its a matter of opinion not facts.
is there proof that Netfkux shows have to have FOzuR seasons?I mean I know I know they psy more for more seasons, more episodes but still that's a difference from shows having to have four seasons
Exactly-syndication isn't a factor in automatically getting it a fourth season and ratings dropped towards the end of the season and I don't think it'll get a good time slot/leadin ect whenever it does come back which will hurt it and the fact it's season was shortened slightly and pushed to midseason I don't think is a good sign
It does well in digital as well as international sales and is cheaper to produce than most scripted dramas as a international co oroduction Pkus syndication( they want to get it to. 70idh episodes like Nikita,HoD)&cast contracts were up in May so they either had to renew it or cancel it or release the cast & try to re-sign them.
Actors contracts are usually for 6-7 seasons. That's why Nina left TVD when she did. It was the first time her contract was up. I'm pretty sure the Elementary actors are signed through season 6. If a show is doing really well ratings wise,, which Elementary isn't, they may renegotiate early to lengthen the contract and have the actors be happy so they will keep on re-signing.
Yes. CBS hasn't cancelled it and good ratings might pull another renewal. Plus a dedicated fan base might make the show more appealing to Amazon or Netflix to pick up if CBS does cancel it. And it's really good IMHO so why miss good episodes because it might be cancelled?
So everybody who doesn't follow any of the shows should just SHUT UP and his comment vote deleted and banned for making a vote without knowing the ratings?
Bones probably more because David and Emily are ready to move on as much as their lower ratings. Castle possibly for same reasons as Bones, Nathan and Stana may be ready to move on. Hawaii five 0 because it barely got renewed this season and I believe CBS doesn't own it but I could be wrong. Sleepy Hollow because no matter what changes they have made( and not even with the stunt crossover with Bones that is coming) it just will not come back to what it once was. CSI Cyber I think will not get another chance
Person of Interest, Sleepy Hollow, Last Man on Earth, Grey's Anatomy and Blue Bloods. Yes, the last two are just massive guesses just to give me five choices, but I wouldn't be surprised if those two shows do get cancelled because they just seem like they're dragging on the schedules.
Also, I'd just really like to see Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. get cancelled too.
Thanks for replying and for your encouragement. I'll have to admit that I'm most concerned about the future of Sleepy Hollow. Hope you're right, love watching the show.
Agree on Once Upon A Time. It used to be good when there was an actual plot. But now it just new Disney characters, ships, magic and last minute device to solve everything.
Hey, I think it would've been a fine series on its own. If only the TV side of things is really just a subsidiary of the MCU and its own thing without having to pick little things from the cinematic universe and only do it poorly, then I think AoS would end up being a perfectly fine series on its own.
Grey's Anatomy should have been about 2 seasons ago, but it seems like ABC is going to milk it for all it's worth. (Which I was hoping wouldn't be the case, because the last few years it seems like the shows I watch ended at an almost perfect time (LOST, Fringe, House MD) but this one..yeah, it's going to go on as long as it can make money. I once upon a time expected more from Shonda..not anymore.
Castle I think will be. I think NF has said he wants to do other projects? I've heard that him and Stana Katic don't get along, and her negotiation till the very end for her contract seems very telling.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I would say the myseries of laura, sleepy hollow, nashville (hopefully).
ReplyDeleteI fear POI will be cancelled but I do not want it to because I am just starting to watch it and would like to watch live for at least 2 more seasons
Some of these choices are hilarious. Empire, The Flash, How To Get Away, Scandal, OUAT, Arrow are 100% getting renewed. A lot of other choices are pretty much safe bets like B99, Elementary and AOS.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if OUAT is 100% :( it ended with a 1.8 and at best will bounce back to a 2.3 and after that it will unfortunately fall very low
ReplyDeleteSadly the shows that might get cancelled will be ones that I like. Sleepy Hollow, Elementary, Castle and Bones. I hope I'm wrong.
ReplyDeleteThe Mysteries of Laua, Sleepy Hollow, Castle, Bones and Person of Interest. Also Nashville and Hawaii Five-0.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Beauty and the Beast on this list? I stopped watching and I saw TVbythenumber said it went up and I checked, it went up to a 3, lol.
ReplyDeleteOUAT is still the best drama of Sunday night. A winner in its timeslot. To me, a 6th (and prolly last) season is a sure thing.
ReplyDeleteGrey's Anatomy will never be cancelled! It will become another the Bold and the Beautiful with this rate.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree ! I mean I don't get why people are saying it will get cancelled , it will outlast Scandal IMO
ReplyDeleteOne of my choices was The 100, sadly. As much as I love the show, the CW have way more shows than they need and I doubt they're gonna keep anything as low rated as The 100.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I hate it, it's 99% sure Person of Interest will be canceled by CBS. That's why we need everyone to watch the show on Netflix US this fall!

OUaT will most likely get renewed but this is a personal wish of mine to see it canceled. A show that conveys so many problematic messages to the audience and who doesn't deal with its issues should have no place on air.
-The Mysteries Of Laura;
ReplyDelete-CSI: Cyber;
-American Crime.
Do you realize they renewed so many drama with very lower ratings than OUAT right?
ReplyDeleteThe 100 is a veteran show thanks to the third season renewal. It will be renewed for a final short season like Nikita and Hart Of Dixie.
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest,Madam Secretary,Nashville & Sleepy Hollow.
ReplyDeleteSleepy Hollow no, please!!!
ReplyDeleteI know POI is likely toast which makes me very sad.
ReplyDeleteI'm not that passionate about the show anymore.Of course i wouldn't like it but i wouldn't be devastated if it ends up getting axed.
ReplyDeleteOther than POI which is only given 13 episodes I think None listed will be cancelled even Mysteries of Laura which is a package deal to NBC from Warner Television. Many of the weak shows now are partnered with stronger shows and are sold to the networks as packages.
ReplyDeleteRatings are less and less an indicator on what will be seen on network TV these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you didn't like it anymore. I still love the show, and I want more Ichabood and Abbie on my screen, they are an incredible team and the show is still very interesting in my opinion ;)
ReplyDeleteI get that.Sometimes i just lose interest in some shows along the way-it happens. For me-Most recently UTD,Grimm,SH,Arrow,TO,PLL etc.
ReplyDeleteI love OUAT, I am just a bit worried
ReplyDeleteNo reason to worry at all.ABC has bigger fish to fry.
ReplyDeleteIt's normal, this happened to me too. I lost interest in Revenge in season 4, but it's still one of my favourite shows. I lost interest in PLL too, this Charles mystery has been too long...
ReplyDeleteRevenge had a very satisfying finale according to me.I'm fully content.
ReplyDeleteThe finale was really good, but season 4 overall has been disappointing :)
ReplyDeleteI understand, but season 3 started with a 2.6, not so higher than a 2.2/2.3. Despite this, season 3 stayed very steady, so we can't predict any rating right now ;)
ReplyDeleteNothing can be worse than that horrible Season 2.After that i lowered my expectations and enjoyed it for what it is.
ReplyDeleteHoping Agent Carter will bounce back with ratings this time round. Don't want that getting cancelled.
ReplyDeleteexcept that Nikita and HoD had 66 and 67 episodes at the end of the 3rd season while The 100 will only have 42 episodes
ReplyDeleteIt's still a veteran show, Pedowitz never cancels a show with a multiple seasons without a proper ending.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I went to the Beauty page on spoiler but did not see this. Really weird.
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 was weak compared to season 1 and 3, but the worst season is the fourth, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteIt may be pretty far back because they renewed it like a month before they had even started showing THIS season. So it got renewed with zero ratings information. I don't know what fairy godmother waved their wand at BATB, but she deserves a raise.
ReplyDeleteI think POI,Msybe Madame Sec plus Msybe Blue Bloods,Cyber for CzbS.For NBC-MoL& possibly Grimm..Abc-sadly probably Nashville& maybe S&L.Fox-Slerpy Hollow. For CW,Aroow & Flash do too well so not them & I belve Reign will get a fourth, final season so I'd guess The 100.(ratings dropped end if s2,nowhere near syndication).
ReplyDeleteA proper ending can come in the end of season 3...
ReplyDeleteI think the fourth season was very weak and the first half was badly written. When they finally concentrated on Emily and her identity again, it was awesome including victoria's fake murder and emily's revalation!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I am able to let go which I thought I would not be able to
ReplyDeleteI did not completely hate season 2. The flash forward episode (Amanda's death) and the finale are among the best episodes of the series!
ReplyDeleteWell if you are counting cancelled as those who actually reach a series finale, planned, then Castle and POI have a huge chance. My vote's for Bones, considering those which I see.
ReplyDeleteShonda Rhimes had once said Scandal will not be an 8-season or 10-season show and that she already knows the ending.
ReplyDeleteOUAT needs to do badly AND the new shows need to do very well for it to get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI won't really say that Elementary is pretty much safe. Speically that they are now on season 4, it could mean that they get cancelled. Because after s4 most contracts are getting renewed, means more money for the actors and I don't see that CBS would afford it with the rating they brought so far.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people keep saying Reign will be canceled when it is at the end of S3? Hasn't BATB taught people anything?
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Nashville but why would you actively root for it to be canceled? I find that mean.
ReplyDeleteWe did this poll already. = /
ReplyDeleteCertain Renewals: Reign, Grey's Anatomy, Elementary, Scandal, Agents of Shield, Arrow, How to Get Away with Murder, Empire, The Blacklist, Chicago Fire, The Flash
ReplyDeleteLikely Renewals: CSI Cyber, Madam Secretary, Once Upon a Time, The 100, Grimm, Blue Bloods, Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Toss-Ups: Sleepy Hollow, Castle, Nashville, H50, Secrets and Lies, The Last Man on Earth, The Good Wife, American Crime, Agent Carter,
Likely Cancellations: The Mysteries of Laura, Person of Interest, Bones,
I doubt Madam Secretary is canceled.
ReplyDeleteCBS knows what they are doing with Cyber and MS even if we do not understand it. I say if they were profitable enough in Season 1 they will continue to be for the next few years.
ReplyDeleteABC needs to have a very good freshman season to cancel both Castle and Nashville imo. They won't launch 5 new dramas in fall 2016.
ReplyDeleteIdt Sleepy Hollow will be cancelled.
ReplyDeleteNetflix deal offers huge bonus for shows making it to a 4th season regarding of the # episodes so I think The 100 is fine no matter what. For the CW shows, # season actually matters more than # of episodes.

ReplyDeleteYou might be right. I can't remember my renewal predictions and don't have access to them currently, but I might have predicted a renewal for Nashville. Just a short fifth season will get them to 100 episodes.

ReplyDeleteYeah I think it is pretty safe, I just put it on the second tier for safety but I think all those second tier shwos are pretty safe
ReplyDeleteI think Elementary is safe because of the crazy syndication deal it has, CBS make a lot of money from that. Contracts could be an issue though but I think it will be OK
ReplyDeleteHopefully these two awesome actors reel you back in Joy.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMYs1iMf3-Y
Trust me when i say this-The only reason i'll be giving Season 3 a chance is coz of these two awesome actors!
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteGood to hear.
Reign and Sleepy Hollow, in fact is a miracle have them in TV yet. Reign´s plot is a nonsense and SH never got the main couple together, two deceptions.
ReplyDeleteI would say Person of Interest, Nashville, The mysteries of Laura, Reign, and American Crime
ReplyDeleteWhile I am reasonably confident CBS knows what it is doing and that they will bring MS to syndication, at least there is the millers precedent there, so I think it is more understandable than reign.

ReplyDeletePOI and Bones should have been cancelled. I vote for Nashville and H50. All of them are booooring shows.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way about season 2 overall :). But I won't be surprised if next season does wind up being its last. Crossing my fingers with you all the same, though.
ReplyDeleteSleepy Hollow third season is not a miracle, it was the third highest rated drama on FOX.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's too early to say, but that sounds like a possible guess.
ReplyDeleteMy votes: Greys Anatomy, Last Man On Earth, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder and Empire.
ReplyDeleteAlso POI should not be in this poll. This will be the last season of the show.
Reign is a season from syndication and besides p,it or quality Dosent factor into renewal/cancellations just money. As for SH I heard Abbie/Ichabod will never get together romantically so the showrunner says plus Ichabods married
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding?Greys s12 isn't yet announced as the last andit will get a preannoced final season plus it still good ratings for its age and Empire is a humongous ratings hit-it won't be getting soon,Evfn if declines next season,it still has a lot if room to fall before bring cancellation terrotirity.Murder was a hit last season too,POI probably will be cancelled but as CBzs hasn't yet announced it the final season,it should be on this poll
ReplyDeleteSame here I still enjoyed the first half of the season but the writing was weak and but got a little better around episode 10.
ReplyDeleteSo, that are my votes i don't care if i'm wrong. I'm giving my opinion.
ReplyDeleteIts not a matter of opinion its a matter of facts. Do u honestly think that they would cancel Empire? Why would they cancel a show that gets 5.0s? its common sense.
ReplyDeleteYes it's a matter of opinion, not of fact!!!! If you see the name of this article says Poll, that means everybody can vote and give their opinion, no just those who know what show will be cancelled and what show has what ratings. So yes its a matter of opinion not facts.
ReplyDeleteis there proof that Netfkux shows have to have FOzuR seasons?I mean I know I know they psy more for more seasons, more episodes but still that's a difference from shows having to have four seasons
ReplyDeleteVM was cancelled as a veteran show without a proper ending.
ReplyDeleteExactly-syndication isn't a factor in automatically getting it a fourth season and ratings dropped towards the end of the season and I don't think it'll get a good time slot/leadin ect whenever it does come back which will hurt it and the fact it's season was shortened slightly and pushed to midseason I don't think is a good sign
ReplyDeleteIt does well in digital as well as international sales and is cheaper to produce than most scripted dramas as a international co oroduction Pkus syndication( they want to get it to. 70idh episodes like Nikita,HoD)&cast contracts were up in May so they either had to renew it or cancel it or release the cast & try to re-sign them.
ReplyDeleteYes wikileaks emails

I'm pretty sure the Elementary actors are signed through season 6. If a show is doing really well ratings wise,, which Elementary isn't, they may renegotiate early to lengthen the contract and have the actors be happy so they will keep on re-signing.
ReplyDeleteYes. CBS hasn't cancelled it and good ratings might pull another renewal. Plus a dedicated fan base might make the show more appealing to Amazon or Netflix to pick up if CBS does cancel it. And it's really good IMHO so why miss good episodes because it might be cancelled?
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell?! Empire and HTGAWM?! You are completely mad
ReplyDeleteNo that is my vote and i'm sticking to it. Yes it maybe wrong, but that is my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe poll does not say: which shows should be cancelled. It says which shows will likely be cancelled which means it has to do with the ratings
ReplyDeleteThis is not about opinion, it is anot ratings
ReplyDeleteVery true!
ReplyDeleteSo everybody who doesn't follow any of the shows should just SHUT UP and his comment vote deleted and banned for making a vote without knowing the ratings?
ReplyDeleteI wish
ReplyDeleteActually with Package deals and Syndication deals, Ratings are getting less important.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be shocked if Reign, POI, TMOL all survive. Im gonna be grateful for these three too
ReplyDeleteBones probably more because David and Emily are ready to move on as much as their lower ratings. Castle possibly for same reasons as Bones, Nathan and Stana may be ready to move on. Hawaii five 0 because it barely got renewed this season and I believe CBS doesn't own it but I could be wrong. CSI Cyber I think will not get another chance
ReplyDeletePerson of Interest, Sleepy Hollow, Last Man on Earth, Grey's Anatomy and Blue Bloods. Yes, the last two are just massive guesses just to give me five choices, but I wouldn't be surprised if those two shows do get cancelled because they just seem like they're dragging on the schedules.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd just really like to see Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. get cancelled too.
Thanks for replying and for your encouragement. I'll have to admit that I'm most concerned about the future of Sleepy Hollow. Hope you're right, love watching the show.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more on Once Upon a Time.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask why you want SHIELD cancelled?
ReplyDeleteAgree on Once Upon A Time. It used to be good when there was an actual plot. But now it just new Disney characters, ships, magic and last minute device to solve everything.
ReplyDeleteShe said the same thing about Grey's Anatomy.
ReplyDeleteI actually think he is 100% right
ReplyDeleteBecause it adds nothing to the whole of MCU and it's already been lackluster with introducing the Inhumans element into the universe.
ReplyDeleteI respect your opinion and I have to respectfully disagree. Agents of SHIELD has only gotten better IMO.
ReplyDeleteHey, I think it would've been a fine series on its own. If only the TV side of things is really just a subsidiary of the MCU and its own thing without having to pick little things from the cinematic universe and only do it poorly, then I think AoS would end up being a perfectly fine series on its own.

I loved OUAt at one point, at this time I still like it, but it should end before it hits rock bottom for me.
ReplyDeleteI was highly surprised Reign didn't get cancelled after last season
ReplyDeleteI just picked the last two shows on the idea that I don't hear much of those shows anymore and GA goes along with it, like Blue Bloods.
ReplyDeleteSame here but every renewal was Annouced early for CW im assuming they are expanding their list of programming
ReplyDelete
