I think she would ridiculous as a cop or anything like that so a procedural is out of the question. And I sure hope she doesn't get on Supernatural, I love that show. I'm not sure what Scream Queens is about but for some reason I thought it could be a fit, Pretty Little Liars would be good too but this show already has a lot of female characters.
I think she is more into doing movies now. If she wanted to do TV she would've stayed on VD.
But still would be interesting to see her in Salem. FB Katerina was one of Nina's primes, hot and intriguing. Once would be neat as well, but still don't know which part she could pull of. Zelena and Robin's kid from the future trying to kill Regina again.
A Shondaland show would be neat as well. Maybe Lauren's devious cousin or Rebecca's sister.
Still think she'll if she does TV will probably go cable and serious, escape the closet she was put in as a CW breakout star. Maybe AHS or something.
None of the above. I think she should do a very serious dramatic adult role, something to really get her noticed as a serious actor. Maybe a parenthood type show, or this is going to sound strange, even a spot on the good wife as a lawyer or a long term patient in greys. After doing a role like Elena for so long, I'm a bit scared she'll continue to be type cast as a student.
Supernatural! I have been thinking that Nina could be a great casting choice to play a love interest for Sam. However, I don't think that's ever going to happen because of politics since Supernatural is a CW show like Vampire Diaries.
Supernatural has a notoriously bad track record when it comes to love interest for the boys but I think Nina could have worked out great for the show. At this point, it'd be better to go for someone who isn't a complete unknown. And of course it'd be important that the actors would look good together, which I think Nina Dobrev and Jared Padalecki could accomplish ;)
Even though Nina might seem a little too "trendy" to fit the world of Supernatural, I think Nina could portray her character in a charming and sweet way. So even if the audience's first impression of her wasn't that of down-to-earth girl, the audience could still find it believable that Sam would become interested in getting to know her better. She also fits Sam's "type" like Sarah from episode 1.19 Provenance.
I think she'd be great in PLL. Can also kind of see her in iZombie? First thought was she could take over Aly Michalka's role as Liv's friend (as a new character if Aly doesn't end up returning for S2—though I still really want Aly/Peyton to return).
None of the above. Dobrev is likely going to be trying to get movie roles but if a quality drama comes up on cable/streaming and the show does 13 episodes a season or less, she would be crazy to turn that down.
The only shows I could see her on from this list, is OUAT, Salem or Scream Queens. The Originals - Considering it's a spin-off of TVD, I don't see her leaving TVD for The Originals. Plus, Katherine is dead, and Elena is comatose until Bonnie bites the dust. So bringing her in as another character would be too much. iZombie & Supernatural - I don't see her going back to the CW too soon. I could definitely see her guest starring on either of these, but I think it's more likely she'll try other networks before going back to the CW. Game of Thrones - Not a knock on her acting skills, because even GoT has it's weak links, but I just don't see Dobrev fitting in the show. Quantico - Maybe, depending on the character. But I can't really see her as any type of law enforcement. Pretty Little Liars - The show is pretty much ending, and I think she'd be looking for another lead role if she were to return to TV. Honestly, I think she'll be trying to get some films, which is where I'd rather see her. But if she does return to television, I think she'll land a new pilot, as opposed to joining an already existing show. But I wouldn't say no to her appearing in season 2 of Scream Queens, if it gets renewed. And Murphy manages to maintain the show's quality. She could also be fun in Salem or OUAT.
I think she should try something like drama, but nothing related to the supernatural.. More like Homeland..She's such a great actress and has a lot of potential... I can picture her in a more "serious" tv show...
I couldn't agree more! If we can believe her, she wants movies, not TV. I doubt she'll return to TV until she finds out that the grand movie career she wants doesn't happen, and maybe not even then. Truthfully I see her becoming another Jennifer Anniston. Light roles, not particularly good movies.
I don't know what she already watches but I recommend anyone to try watching GoT and she should also try iZombie and Supernatural cause they are good too.
Hahahaha Jennifer Aniston. IDT Nina will get that big. = p Jennifer has done some good movies. I like her more when she does dramatic roles. I think you got the idea Ight, but the wrong Jennifer....I'll say Lopez Yeesh! Same character, same movie all the time, that's where iI see Nina ending up. Then she can fall back on tv. Just. Like. Lopez.
I wouldn't mind to see her in salem as a witch from another coven from the east of europe that went to salem to check if the Countess was really dead and to present their regards, but just for a few chapters, I really doubt she is going to take a main character in any tv show if she wants to do movies. PD: Wacht Salem, is amazing

Let's be honest. She would not be cast on Game of Thrones if she worked for free. Something like Scream queens would be perfect.
