I think Sream Queens,SuoerGirl followed by maybe Limitless,Minority Report( due to the movies they're a known brand) .Im unsure how Heros will do-it's been a long time and that show went downhill fast I heard so Peopke might not be interested in tuning back in plus not all of the originals are back.Im also unsure about Muppets-they're so 80s/99s-will people really be interested enough?Quaniticito has buzz/hype it seems but I don't think it'll do 3s.The rest I don't see doing 3 s either though Life will probably get a Bang inflated bump,
I don't think any will. Mid to high 2s for Supergirl and The Muppets premieres People will make it a point to tune out of CBS before Life in Pieces starts
I think Blindspot will be the closest to a 3.0 if not greater than. It's getting a lot of buzz now and Jamie Alexander's name is everywhere in the MCU. Next I think the Muppets. The rest I think will be between 2.2-2.7
I honestly don't think any will. Some might get mid to high two's if their lucky. I feel like ratings are just dropping overall. It's rare that a new show does well anymore. Maybe it's just because summer ratings are depressingly low that I'm thinking this way. On second thought, Empire ended up being a beast so who knows. I think the Muppets might do well. And I hope blindspot gets good ratings because I am excited for that show.
I would've said Quantico but with that timeslot its highly unlikely. Besides most new shows these days would even be lucky to crack a 2 in their premieres.
I think quite a bit will make it: these are my predictions for those cracking 3s: Supergirl: 3.2 The Muppets: 3.1 Blindspot: 3.3 Limitless: 3 Minority Report: 3.1
Heroes Reborn is high up, but I think it'll premiere to a 2.2 or something like that. Life in Píeces has a good shoot at breaking 3s with a TBBT lead in, but I'm not completely sure it will do it. Also not sure about Scream Queens.
Few to none. ABC comedies sometimes crack it in the fall so The Muppets has the best chance given its buzz. Everything else? I doubt it. CBS demo is in the tank. So Limitless is probably doomed. Superhero will go higher but still cool. Blind spot looks horrible. High 2.0s maybe.
Most Likely: The Muppets - Early comedies often get a look and The Muppets connects with many generations.
Possible 3's: Blindspot - One of the best chances to be a hit from this new crop of mediocrity...
Scream Queens - FOX shows often premiere big in the prime demo even if they drop later. Supergirl - Most people have no clue it even leaked, but I think the comic hero demographic was aware of the leak and watched. I'm thinking high 2's is most likely due to the leak. Heroes - I think the brand turns off as many as it turns on, but many will tune in to the premiere at least based on the genre if not for the past series.
Outside shot at 3's: Quantico - Terrible promotion, but it did get a lot of promotion.... Maybe it will hit? Limitless - Not the best lead in, but Mr Cooper may draw in some numbers... Maybe.
I love Blindspot. It deserves a 3.0 opening. I guess The Muppets, Quantico, Supergirl and Heroes Reborn. Limitless is a maybe. I hope Minority Report does well, but I don't know if it will get a 3.0 or higher.
The Muppets, Scream Queens (followed by a steep drop), Supergirl (same as SQ), possibly Life in Pieces and Blindspot depending on the power of the lead-ins
Anyway, I doubt a lot of shows will premiere in the 3s. Supergirl and Life in Pieces are the most likely if TBBT returns to the 4s. Scream Queens and The Muppets are up against NCIS and The Voice so I'm not sure there is enough audience left for them to hit 3s. Blindspot has a Voice lead-in, but The Voice itself is dropping so I don't think it will cross a 3.0, more likely 2.5-2.7. Heroes: Reborn is possible but I am guessing it won't happen. Quantico would be very wishful thinking and, as much as I want it to happen, there is zero chance that it will.
It was pretty mixed. http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/05/supergirl-crowded-pilots-leak.html
Generally it's agreed that it's much better then the trailer but people seem to disagree on if its really good or not. Some describe it as 'amazing', others just 'okay, has potential'. I haven't seen any kind of 'it was terrible/unwatchable' kind of comments.
Rooting hard for the Blood and Oil and Quantico duo as well but if they break a 2 it's already a big victory I think and I think it's unlikely for both already. A 3.0 seems totally impossible for me (Although I guess you could say I said the same about Empire and here we are)
The Tuesday at 8 timeslot on premiere night is simply insane. I am convinced that NCIS will come 4th on the timeslot on that night which is a total shocker. I think both The Muppets and Scream Queens will easily break the 3.0
With Limitless I think most people are hoping for a Bradley Cooper effect to kick in and help it out, plus probably counting on no drama competition whatsoever in the hour. It's also quite clear the show is CBS' promotional darling of the year and they are going all in on the show (except for doing the right thing by the show which would be to air it after Scorpion but that's another discussion). I think the show will do very well and be renewed but a 3.0 for the premiere also seems way too much for me, although I don't think it is totally out of the realm of possibilities. I gave it a very dark horse shot of doing it.
Shows that premiered exceptionally high like Revolution, The Flash or Reveng had their pilots leaked as well. It is naive to say its chances are virtually zero because of it.
I figure NCIS/NCIS NO will take a bit of a hit with increased competition. NCIS-2.6ish NO-2.1-2.2 So asking Limitless to increase by 8 tenths is a lot IMO. If this was Monday that would be a different story
Life in Pieces could have a "How to be a Gentlemen" premiere (a 2.7 out of a 5), so I'm not holding my breath. Could break 3s or not, it's a 50/50 for me.
I don't get why people think Scream Queens will do so well. Mid 2s maybe, but I don't feel like 3s is likely. It'll have freshmen untested comedies as lead in, go ahead against The Voice, and honestly, how much hype is there? I don't feel that much of it
I too don't think it will do it, I think your low 2 prediction sounds more reasonable although I do expect it to increase from New Orleans since it should have enough outside interest.
I think it is one of the most hyped shows of the new season and it's been like that forever. FOX is usually able to premiere these young skewing things pretty damn well - remember Glee or New Girl? Them holding up afterwards is an entirely different story but I think this will break out big time. I could be totally wrong though and, at this point, it's anyone's guess but I really think Scream Queens will be huge.
As for Life in Pieces, yes, it could certainly be rejected and I feel much less confident about it than I do about Scream Queens to be honest. It's just that at some point CBS will have to get it right with the post Big Bang show so statistically speaking it's hard for me to bet against them again. But I see where you're coming from.
I think (and hope) NCIS won't return lower than a 2.5. I'm not sure both of the new shows will hit 3s for its premiere, they might eat each other's audience. It's really going to be a clash of the titans.
I don't think it will return lower than a 2.5 either, I just think that the other shows will be even higher than that. And yes, I realize that it is quite insane to predict both newbies to crack a 3.0 in the same timeslot, that also happens to be against the voice and NCIS, but individually speaking for each show I still think that it makes sense to predict so.
I think SQ potentially could but will most likely be a 2 something. I think at mid-season The X-Files will break a 3 and maybe Lucifer behind it will do a little better than 2.5 (I hope)... I'd like to say Heroes Reborn and it's likely that tons of new people got acquainted via Netflix if they stopped watching during the run, but it's on Thursdays, so who knows.
There would have to be a lot of people watching television that night, but I guess it's possible. It happened when SHIELD premiered so it could happen again.
Yeah I was about to use the Shield premiere as an example. One reason why I think this is possible is because the shows seem to target different segments of the audience. Scream Queens is going after the W18-34 demo that FOX usually excels at, NCIS is an A34-49 show and The Muppets will go after the family audience, a bit spread out throughout all these demos. The Voice will have overlap with all of this, yes, but one show overlapping with all the others doesn't seem too much. It was a similar situation with Shield when it was strong in the male demos so it allowed the big demos to coexist with NCIS and The Voice.
Supergirl, Scream queens, and heroes reborn...i also think these three might end on good notes too meaning 2.5 and up...the rest just keeping above a 2 will be a feat lol
I'm feeling pretty confident that Heroes Reborn will and The Muppets. Possibly Supergirl. I also voted for Blindspot (but now I'm changing my mind...it may be too genre)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Isn't too early? Lol
ReplyDeleteOnly Scream Queens, The Muppets, Supergirl and Life in Pieces (because of TBBT leadin)
ReplyDeleteTV is low in Nov so I don't see Med cracking a 3 when the parent show can't
ReplyDeleteBlindspot should do mid 2s doesn't have a James Spader.
Heroes has hype but only among fans of the show and might be too niche
Scream Queens, maybe.
ReplyDeleteI think Sream Queens,SuoerGirl followed by maybe Limitless,Minority Report( due to the movies they're a known brand) .Im unsure how Heros will do-it's been a long time and that show went downhill fast I heard so Peopke might not be interested in tuning back in plus not all of the originals are back.Im also unsure about Muppets-they're so 80s/99s-will people really be interested enough?Quaniticito has buzz/hype it seems but I don't think it'll do 3s.The rest I don't see doing 3 s either though Life will probably get a Bang inflated bump,
ReplyDeleteI don't think any will. Mid to high 2s for Supergirl and The Muppets premieres People will make it a point to tune out of CBS before Life in Pieces starts
ReplyDeleteMinority Report and Limitless are in for a good chance - maybe around 30-40%. Outsiders would be Quantico and Blindspot at about 10-20%.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl's pilot was leaked. Therefore its chances are virtually zero.

ReplyDeleteLimitless has old skewing/incompatible lead in
ReplyDeleteI think Blindspot will be the closest to a 3.0 if not greater than. It's getting a lot of buzz now and Jamie Alexander's name is everywhere in the MCU. Next I think the Muppets. The rest I think will be between 2.2-2.7

I don't think any will tbh, but the ones I think have the highest chance are Scream Queens, Heroes Reborn and maybe The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteI would've said Quantico but with that timeslot its highly unlikely. Besides most new shows these days would even be lucky to crack a 2 in their premieres.
ReplyDeleteI think Scream Queens, Blindspot and The Muppets will, nothing else.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the first I'm hearing about this. How did people like it? It's not on my must see list but I want to give it at least 3 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI think quite a bit will make it: these are my predictions for those cracking 3s:
ReplyDeleteSupergirl: 3.2
The Muppets: 3.1
Blindspot: 3.3
Limitless: 3
Minority Report: 3.1
Heroes Reborn is high up, but I think it'll premiere to a 2.2 or something like that. Life in Píeces has a good shoot at breaking 3s with a TBBT lead in, but I'm not completely sure it will do it. Also not sure about Scream Queens.

ReplyDeleteScream queens and minority report and blindspot for sure. Quantico I really doubt because of the csi finally but the buzz is great.
ReplyDeleteI don't think any will. But I'd say the closest possibilities would be The Muppets and Supergirl
ReplyDeleteBlindspot
ReplyDeleteSupergirl
ReplyDeleteScream Queens
Heroes Reborn.
I think people are betting too much on Blindspot, Heroes, and Limitless.
ReplyDeleteBlindspot- the voice will return lower, lacks big name like Spader so around a Guess 2.5ish
Heroes- most people who left won't come back. 24 Live Another Day returned lower and that was bigger than heroes.
Guess 2.0-2.1
Limitless- has an old skewing/incompatible lead in
2.1-2.3
------------
Supergirl -3.5
The Muppets -3.4
Scream Queens-3.8
Chicago Med-2.5
Your pretty optimistic
ReplyDeleteMost Likely:
ReplyDeleteThe Muppets - Early comedies often get a look and The Muppets connects with many generations.

ReplyDeleteI love Blindspot. It deserves a 3.0 opening. I guess The Muppets, Quantico, Supergirl and Heroes Reborn. Limitless is a maybe. I hope Minority Report does well, but I don't know if it will get a 3.0 or higher.
ReplyDeletePilots being leaked early has little to no effect on premire ratings-Fladh pilot leaked early as did Smash,Revnge and yet they premiered high
ReplyDeleteloves the muppwts so i will say that and i really wish SQ could get a 3.0 but that hopeful thinking. I think blindspot and Heroes will reurn HUGE
ReplyDeleteThe Muppets, Scream Queens (followed by a steep drop), Supergirl (same as SQ), possibly Life in Pieces and Blindspot depending on the power of the lead-ins
ReplyDeleteHeroes, Scream Queens, and Blindspot got my votes.
ReplyDeleteScream Queens & The Muppets.
ReplyDeletePeople Are Talking-Really? LOL!
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and Quantico got my votes, SG very likely as well.
ReplyDeleteWow, today's USD Poll is early!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I doubt a lot of shows will premiere in the 3s. Supergirl and Life in Pieces are the most likely if TBBT returns to the 4s. Muppets, Supergirl and maybe Blindspot.
ReplyDeleteNone?
ReplyDeleteScream Queens, SperGirl, Blindspot, Life in Pieces, The Muppets
ReplyDeleteBut i wish Blood & Oil and Quantico duo could get it
I'd say Blindspot might because it will have The Voice lead in
ReplyDeleteMany of you said in comments that Quantico is getting lot of promotion. Is Blood and Oil getting lot of promotion too?
ReplyDeleteNone.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, maybe Supergirl, because people in USA seem to love comic shows.
ReplyDeleteVery likely: Scream Queens, The Muppets, Super Girl, Life in Pieces
ReplyDeleteOutside chance: Minority Report, Blindspot
A very long shot: Limitess, Heroes Reborn, Chicago Med
I am shocked that so many people think Quantico will break a 3 in that timeslot. Aren't people letting their biases get in the way?
Rooting hard for the Blood and Oil and Quantico duo as well but if they break a 2 it's already a big victory I think and I think it's unlikely for both already. A 3.0 seems totally impossible for me (Although I guess you could say I said the same about Empire and here we are)

ReplyDeleteShows that premiered exceptionally high like Revolution, The Flash or Reveng had their pilots leaked as well. It is naive to say its chances are virtually zero because of it.
ReplyDeleteYup think bias are influencing a lot of choices lol
ReplyDeleteMy predictions:
ReplyDelete-Supergirl: 3.6
-Scream Queens: 3.2
-The Muppets: 3.1
I figure NCIS/NCIS NO will take a bit of a hit with increased competition.
ReplyDeleteNCIS-2.6ish

Life in Pieces could too depending on how well TBBT returns.

Not sure:
Life In Pieces, Blindspot, Best Time Ever and Rosewood
I'm betting on Blindspot and Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling pretty confident that Heroes Reborn will and The Muppets. Possibly Supergirl. I also voted for Blindspot (but now I'm changing my mind...it may be too genre)
