    Marisol Nichols, who last season recurred on NCIS as ATF Agent Zoe Keats, next will be upholding the law on CBS’ Criminal Minds.

    TVLine has confirmed that Nichols will guest-star in an early Season 11 episode of the creepy crime drama as Agent Colburn, a top agent at a Los Angeles outpost of the FBI.

    Soul Food alumna Nicole Ari Parker has been cast in a recurring role on Fox’s new fall drama series Rosewood, starring Morris Chestnut as famous Miami private pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. Parker will play Rosewood’s attractive and successful new girlfriend Kat Crawford, a highly sought-after psychologist specializing in PTSD who often counsels police, soldiers and others who regularly encounter violence.

  • 23:20 - The Sword in the Stone - Disney Remaking a Live Action Adaptation with a Game of Thrones Writer Penning the Script
    Continuing their strategy of reimagining animated classics into live-action movies, Disney is developing a “Sword in the Stone” movie with “Game of Thrones” writer Bryan Cogman penning the script, Variety has confirmed.

    Brigham Taylor will produce the film.

    The original toon was based loosely on T.H. White’s novel of the same name, which ultimately became part of the author’s multi-book King Arthur fantasy, “The Once and Future King.”

    Aurora Perrineau has joined ABC drama series Blood & Oil as a series regular in a recasting. She will play Lacey Briggs, the beautiful daughter of oil tycoon Hap Briggs (Don Johnson), a child he had out of wedlock. Perrineau replaces Caitlin Carver, who played the role in the pilot. Blood & Oil examines the biggest oil discovery in American history, which has triggered a geopolitical shift and an economic boom in North Dakota on a scale not seen since the 1849 California Gold Rush.

    Brian Tee is donning scrubs, joining the cast of NBC’s Chicago Med as a series regular. He will play a Chicago born Resident at the hospital who found his calling in medicine after several tours of duty as an Army medic.

    Tee is coming off this summer’s blockbuster Jurassic World and will be seen in a lead role as Shredder, the iconic villain in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
