Wesley Snipes and Philip Winchester star in a new action thriller this fall on NBC called "The Player." The series takes place in Las Vegas, where a former military operative turned security expert, Alex, (Winchester) is drawn into a high-stakes games of betting on crime. An organization of wealthy individuals gamble on Alex's ability to stop the crimes from playing out.

We got a chance to talk to both actors in the show's press room at Comic-Con in San Diego. We also spoke with executive producer John Rogers about what to expect from the show and why Snipes and Winchester were perfect for their roles.

    Man, Philip Winchester just always seems like the nicest dude, just really happy and grateful to be there. And it's been so long since I've seen a Wesley Snipes interview, I forgot how charming and relaxed he can be. It's such a relief to see they've already developed some good chemistry. Wishing only the best things for this show (and Blindspot!)

    Wesley and Philip were so sweet! You're right - they both were really easy to approach. Wesley was very cool and Philip seemed so down to earth! And I loved seeing how excited they were about the show. It does make you want to watch, right? Neat seeing how they love what they're doing. Thanks so much for your wonderful comments.

    I really did have a blast! I must say, I was so impressed with Philip Winchester. He was exactly like you said - grateful and so excited to be there, really down to earth and just the nicest guy! And you're so right about Wesley Snipes - charming and relaxed! Yes, it's good they have nice chemistry already. I'm also wishing great things for this show (and Blindspot). Thanks for your great comments.

    Not a fan of Zoo, but I'll check the limitless inteeview out later.
    Wesley and Philips energy certainly makes U wanna watch the show. I'll consider giving it a chance.
