Black Sails” actor Zach McGowan has joined the cast of The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama “The 100,” TheWrap has learned. The role will be a recurring one.
McGowan will play a new character named Roan on Season 3 and will appear in a recurring capacity. The character is described as a rogue Grounder warrior who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! The 100 has been making great casting choices, as usual. Roan is the character from the first audition tapes that leaked, correct? He's the one trapped with Clarke, the Ice Queen's son?

ReplyDeleteHe was fine on Black Sails season 1 (didn't watch S02). He has a strong screen presence in my opinion and was overall a strong character.

ReplyDeleteY'all Black Sails fans know anything about their filming schedule? I've heard it films in South Africa and isn't he like a main character? Very excited about the casting news, but I fear his character will die quickly :(... The character Roan itself just from dialogue seemed to be pretty prominent if he is the ice nation queen's son & has a past with Lexa. But I don't know.. I just don't want him to die after like 3 episodes haha

ReplyDeleteI know, but I liked the guy from the "Roan" tape better than the other one, actingwise.
ReplyDeleteI really like what they doing! I like their casting choices, the spoilers, the title of the first two episodes... Keep it up, The 100! It looks like we are in for an amazing season 3.
