‘SUITS’ CONTINUES TO SET THE BAR HIGH AS USA NETWORK RENEWS THE HIT ORIGINAL DRAMA FOR A SIXTH SEASON

From Universal Cable Productions, Season Five Currently airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on USA

NEW YORK – July 1, 2015 – USA Network announced today a 16-episode sixth season renewal of the provocative and sophisticated hit original drama SUITS from Universal Cable Productions. Currently airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on USA, the fifth season of SUITS, which premiered last week, opened to 3.4MM total viewers P2+, 1.5MM P25-54 and 1.3MM P18-49.

“SUITS has set the bar high in every way and continues to be a strong performer and marquee property for USA,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network. “From the incredible on-screen performances and brilliant writing to the aspirational lifestyle portrayed, we look forward to continuing to bring viewers into the world of SUITS every week.”

“SUITS has delivered a smart and sexy roller coaster ride for five seasons,” said Jeff Wachtel, Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and President, Universal Cable Productions. “Aaron Korsh has some great surprises for the audience at the end of Season 5 that should really set future seasons on an exciting new course.”

SUITS centers on a fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm led by legendary lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht ). In the next episode, “Compensation,” airing tonight at 9/8c, Harvey searches for a replacement for Donna (Sarah Rafferty), while his latest case forces him to bring out some star power. Mike (SAG Award Nominee, Patrick J. Adams) takes a case as a favor, which he must justify to Jessica (Gina Torres) – while Rachel’s (Meghan Markle) father, Robert Zane (guest star Wendell Pierce), offers some unsolicited advice about Rachel’s engagement to Mike. And Louis (Rick Hoffman) is embroiled in surprising money matters, as Jack Soloff (guest star John Pyper Ferguson) tries to involve him in his scheme to undermine Harvey.

The fifth season premiere is available on Video on Demand and fans can catch up on previous seasons via Amazon Prime. Also, subscribers of NBC UNIVERSO on participating cable, satellite, and telco services will be able to view episodes of SUITS in Spanish on Video on Demand, as well as on nbcuniverso.com and the NBC UNIVERSO NOW app by entering the subscriber’s log-in information. 10. Love Suits. But I think being a serialized legal drama, it flies under the radar for so many. It's not the typical light show that USA is known for and most of the cast isn't household names. But, it's a very well made show and the stories/relationships are quite compelling. Plus, Sarah Rafferty is one of the hottest women on TV right now.

  20. Did USA announce Royal Pains ending?

  21. Considering the state of USA, this was an obvious renewal. Suits will run as long as those involved will commit.

  22. It's about a mysterious anarchist who is trying to recruit a socially awkward (maybe sociopathic?) security analyst. This security analyst also acts as a vigilante hacker who finds injustices and reports them to the police. The acting was awesome and the pilot's plot was very put together. I think the full episode is available to American users on IMDB and USA Network.

  26. You gotta give it time for Louis (season 2 on he's terrific), Mike and Harvey get pretty enjoyable as their friendship develops, same with Jessica and Rachel. And Donna well she just becomes so awesome. Huge shame, because as the series goes they all get really awesome and have great moments.
