Update: 13th July It seems MTV jumped the gun a little with the Season 2 Renewal announcement. MTV have since removed that tweet and said it has not officially renewed the show yet.
Exec producer @JaimePaglia just made an announcement at our #SDCC panel...THERE WILL BE A SEASON 2 OF #MTVSCREAM. HELL YES.

this trailer makes me think the killers from S1 are Will and Jake, like the new Billy/Stu. I just hope Brooke survive, I love her so much already.

ReplyDeleteIt'll likely be similar to the movies, the season will end with the killer being revealed/stopped. Season 2 will then follow the survivor (most likely Emma and maybe one or two others) plus a bunch of new people being terrorised by another killer.
ReplyDeleteDoing a completely new story would get old fast, because unlike AHS, they have to keep the same basic premise of slasher serial killer.

ReplyDeleteway too go MTV on season 2 of scream I can do without the teen drama crap and get too the killing but I guess we need the Drama too make it a good show. I am happy it doing good MTV was also thinking about a Friday the 13th TV Show so If Scream can do why can't Friday do it too.
