Thanks to Spindae2 for the heads up
Things might not be looking good for Francis, but we do have some good news for Reign fans. EW can exclusively reveal that Amy Brenneman will reprise her role as Marie de Guise in an episode in the show’s upcoming third season.

Gonna guess she's back to be die. She mentioned to Mary that she has a condition that cannot be cured.
ReplyDeleteHistorically she died from dropsy 6 months before Francis did. Losing her mother will probably give them further drama with Francis, with Mary not wanting to lose him either as his condition gets worse.
I'd glad.Amy is an amazing actress, would love to see more of her!
ReplyDeleteI think Marie de Guise could die a couple of eps after her appearing. Right before mid season. Francis to die around 3x20 and we deal a bit with his death in S3 finale and rest in S04.
ReplyDeleteI just hope they accelarate a bit and we'll see Mary's lice in Scotland before the show ends.
I like Amy, but I always ask myself how Kate Walsh would've done the part.
ReplyDeleteAmy's last appearance was really good, as in being snarky and funny(her moments with Lola), but also during her serious moments. Looking forward to see what this appearance will bring.
That's if it gets a full season. I'm still leaning towards it only getting a 13 episode season because of the timeslot issue. Marie De Guise could appear early in the season (around episode 3/4), die around episode 10/11/12 and her funeral could be the season final.
ReplyDeleteI still hope it will be a full season with maybe the second part being burned off during summer if the ratings don't work out. Overall I have a positive feeling about S03. #R3ign will rise back to old fame (0,4-0,5s) and secure itself a 4th season.
ReplyDeleteStill I hate the wait to find out how many eps we'll get.
