ReplyDeleteIt could be a serialize soap opera type show like Melrose Place or Sex and the City focusing on the Liars lives after A as they move up in their careers after University, their dating lives, and them enjoying the sister bond that got them through their ordeal with A.
You really think anyone would actually watch the show if there is no more A? I don't.The entire show will fall apart and it will lose it's edge and become one of those average teen shows.But that's just me.

ReplyDeleteSeason 6 may be the best yet, but that's in large part because they are finally giving us answers, and making steps forward. I know there will be something new driving the show after the time jump, but whatever that something or someone is, it cannot turn into another 6 year mystery. Keep up with the current quality and let the show go out on a high note with the end of season 7 as originally planned.

ReplyDeleteSeems like it. They mentioned we'd get a Ravenswood episode in PLL eventually to tie up loose ends. But it's starting to seem like it went from a full episode to a quick scene in 5.11 (near the end when the Ouija board says "Good bye" and we see Fireflies outside).
ReplyDeleteI feel like I'm literally the only one not opposed to this. They're introducing a new mystery arc in 6B so the stories might not be as stretched by the end of s7 so it probably won't be as bad as everyone is thinking.

ReplyDeleteYay! I'll take possibility over definitely no!! :D As for the hAters... whatever, if you don't like it, who cares... plenty of us do. Last I checked there are a million other channels. That, and, face it... Pretty Little Liars is a million times better than all of these "reality" shows the channel keeps trying to push on us. They have cancelled soo many great shows way too soon. I won't forgive them for that, but more seasons of PLL will help make up for the loss of Ravenswood, Lying Game, Twisted, etc. :D

ReplyDeleteI would love another season but I honestly don't know how they can continue. I understand 1 1/2 seasons after we find out who it is (not completely, but somewhat) because we need to see what happens to them AFTER A (because I would HATE the last episode of the entire show finding out who A is), but this is sort of pushing it, especially since there's been talk about a movie after the end. I honestly don't think A is coming back in the future, I'll probably stop watching if they do that, because I can NOT take another A and I will NOT stand for it, but I probably will because I just NEED to know who it is and how PLL ends.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there'll be another A. Everyone's been saying this is the end of A, and I believe them for once. I think it might just turn into the aftermath of the torment of A, not yet another A coming around and annoying us to death. I think everyone understands how much they've put fans through trying to solve the mystery and I think they're going to give us our answers and just show the girls struggling with all the stuff related to the old A (not a new A).

ReplyDeleteBy the time PLL hits its 8th season premiere (if it even has one which I hope it doesn't) it'll be at Secret Life/Gossip Girl/90210 final season numbers, and those were very bad numbers, around 1.00 mill viewers and a 0.4.
But I think maybe it's time to make PLL "just another average teen show". I'm tired of the girls hurting, I don't know about you (if you sickly want the girls to go through this), but I'm so done with their pain. They don't DESERVE it!!! I think they can sort of keep A without A still tormenting. They can show us the pain the girls go through after A. PLL will NEVER be an average teen show, no matter what.

ReplyDeleteI get where you're coming from,i really do.I'm addicted to TVD till date even though it's pretty mediocre now.That being said,i do love Spencer,Caleb,previous version of Toby,Emily & Mona.I recently started liking Alison too.Hanna is too naive for my taste and Aria is just bland.My fav-Spencer.Troian is why i keep tuning in each week.

But if she's the only reason why you watch it maybe you should just watch the summer finale and give it up. I've heard of people watching shows just because so and so's in it (example: only watching Gossip Girl because Blake Lively's in it, if you've seen that and know what I mean) and it seems sad! Because if you don't really enjoy the plot and characters why are you watching? Maybe you should give up PLL, but if you become interested you could start watching again. Bc I know it's ridiculous but to me it feels like disrespect to the PLL Army to watch this show if you don't really enjoy it, because some people who live across the world have to watch the PLL clips online (sad!) and if you don't enjoy the show, it's simple, just drop it. I know this was really long, but to me this is an important subject. Also, I loved the TVD books; if you haven't read them you should, and I enjoyed the first couple of episodes until I gave it up. So I see how you can be obsessed with that!
