Other: Chiyoh kisses Will and pushes him over the back of the train.
My runner up would have been Bedelia and Hannibal discussing snails, dragonflies, change, and reciprocity (now I am thinking a wave to FRINGE or JJ Abrams might be even more plausible with these images, concepts, and dialogues).
I think Jack definitely got his digs in and took Hannibal by surprise, but the promo for next week makes it sound like he didn't finish Hannibal off intentionally (meaning he didn't "beat" him"), allowing for Will to be the one to make a final decision on Hannibal's fate, but this also goes hand in hand with the reciprocity conversation ("quick pro quo", tit for tat, an even balance)...
He still beat him. He humiliated Lecter made him feel like all those he's hunted. Afraid. He took Lecter's urgency and control from him. Will may catch him, but Jack brought him down.
Ah, Gotcha! Jack def made it easier, but the press release for episode 7 makes it seem like it might be a bloody mess again, since so many people are on the hunt! Hannibal I think has been emotionally distraught all season hitting highs and lows, but ya, he's been taken down a good notch by Jack!
"Even" is a weird word in this case for Will Graham, because of what is coming for Hannibal (and how Hannibal responds to it) and because it looks like how we are getting there isn't the exact way the book Red Dragon gets us there, since there is a Hannibal-novel/film inverted event right before. Will Graham I think is still torn and so upset, that he is blind-sighted, but I think and hope what he said in the season 2 finale to Hannibal is very telling if whom he really is....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Help, everything. "Pappardelle alla lepre" made me laugh like a baby :'D
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself that this show will end at the top of his form. So, maybe, there's no reason to be sad at all about its cancellation. Maybe...

ReplyDeleteHannibal got Even Steven with Will when he tried to kill him so i guess is Will's turn to get even with Hannibal.
