  1. I'm really liking this show. It has a very interesting story and I'm ready for everyone who's following the mystery to gather and figure out what's going on with these animals all over the world. It seems that the different species (Lions/cats, Dogs, etc) will gather and take on the humans together. Very interesting strategy.

  2. I voted Good. Which was one step above my "ok" from last week. This episode was better than the pilot. It was more interesting. I still like Jackson, I like his mother (the actress, i never remember her name but i like her), and i hate that his friend Abraham is alive. Ugh! I forgot they showed him in the what's to come promo. I couldn't stand him in the pilot, he annoyed me very quickly and i was relieved when he "died". I also am very distracted by Chloe's eyebrows!! Every time she's on screen, i can't concentrate on anything else but that catepillar across her forehead. Yes, she doesn't actually have a unibrow but she might as well have!!! I saw it right away last week and somehow tonight it just got bigger on me. Someone take that woman to get her brows done properly! Then i can concentrate on her acting, which btw, that scene with her sister, predictable. I knew it was her sister right before she said anything. I hope they don't have in mind to get Chloe and Jackson together, i wouldn't care for it. For now they should hold off.

The adopted parents. What??? How are they able to adopt a kid when they just lost him at the zoo and found him in front of a cage full of lions??? Calls bullshit on that one! But i felt sorry for the dad though, poor bastard. His own dog turned on him. That's messed up. And what was going on with brunette girl's computer?? (forgot her name) If they show that a monkey was controlling that damn computer i'm gonna be pissed. LOL And Mitch with the cub, so freaking cute!!! I love cubs. I couldn't help but go, "Awww" when it was waking up.

I'm definitely looking forward to next week, i want to see that bird scene, that caught my eye very quickly with the promo.

  3. rated it only "ok", as I was hoping for some improvement from some of the weak bits of the pilot for me, but sadly alot of it still remained: the disjointed feel with the jumping back and forth between awkwardly written scenes with clumsy dialogue and spotty acting performances, scenes that required a LOT of disbelief suspension: ie - Jackson and the police going to look for Abraham in an area of attack by multiple lions at night in a wide open jeep without armed/well lit back up, Jackson running to rescue Abe without checking to see if the lions were anywhere around. And even though I get that they don't want to drag/slow the story down timewise for the characters to come to their epiphanies (Jackson's father's theories might be right/ the animals are communicating long distances) it just really felt way too quick without witnessing more occurrences. The whole adoption sequence seemed almost pointless up until the reveal of the dog bait/ambush, and how is it that with all those missing victims, (and even though we never got to see any investigation/discovery) that the mysterious "know it all" investigator appears to enlist Chloe's help with a over dramatic "fate of the world is at stake" plea because she is qualified just because she survived a lion attack?
I'm only going to give this one more ep and hope that things tighen up immensely as I really like the premise, but so far the excecution has been disappointing for me.

  5. It was a great episode. I enjoy the show. And I thought the scenes in the 4 geographies actually worked better this time than in the pilot when the swaps just between the two of them felt less smooth. Billy Burke is just awesome in this role. And damn those scenes in Slovenia were creepy as hell. I love they are giving this such a global scale.

  6. It wasn't his own dog though, it belonged to the hotel. There was a scene earlier in the episode where he tried to keep the boy away from the dog.

  7. Ohhh. I didn't catch that. I thought it was his, He was yelling his name, dog went to the bedroom, so yeah. Hmm. Oh well, that actually make me feel better, thanks. Lol

  8. I also like the 2nd episode better than the Pilot. Now, we're really getting into the story. The concern is spreading, world wide. And the search for answers begins.

  9. It's not like that in Slovenia at all :( They didn't do us any justice.
