- Hey Wes, way to believe only what you want to believe. I'm sure Minx is being truthful. - Honestly, the Secretary of Defense needs to either jail Claire and Sean, or have them killed. Most of the stuff that's going on wouldn't have happened if people followed procedure. - I hope that this isn't the end of Nina. I was really starting to like her.
The question is did they really kill the 'new' Drill at the end of episode 7? Now they'll never be able to get it of them since they always come back after one of their own has been killed....? Oh god this show.
Drill was able to overload the plant because the guys in the emergency situation trailer went off book. He was able to get to the transmitter because Claire and Sean turned off the magnetic field. So much of what he does depends on Claire NOT doing what she's supposed to be doing.
No. (I would think that much was obvious.) Because she got herself into this mess thanks to her stupidity. Instead of at least trying to remove her child from Drill's influence (which she was even advised to do on more than one occasion) she stupidly started to play a "game" with this entity she knows for a fact is very dangerous and got herself into a position where she could be directly threatened by it.
Poor episode for me. It really sucks now that once Sean had all the answers when he needed them and now he is just back seat. The one asking questions or waiting for revelations. I think this was the first time I was bothered by the Catching something in the Video scene.
Only cool parts were of course the kids and Thomas, who paid a big sacrifice so his father won't send back a message for drill.
And can someone explain to me the Secretary of Defense's logic at any point after the attempt to kill Drill? How on earth could he have gone from 'We're wrong. It's a communication device.' to Treason? His whole reaction was so illogical it kicked em out of the story.
Huh, could be that, but Thomas seemed pretty certain he KILLED Drill, plus Drill wouldn't have sent Lena to kill Thomas if it was just a incapacitation right?
Me either, i thought the scene in the promo was a misdirection, because they usually are right? Remember, by destroying the rock they went against direct orders from the chain of command.
Yes. He know that Thomas can be dangerous to him, and sent Lena to kill him. One new "Drill" wouldn't know who is Thomas, as apparently the old "Drill" didn't sent any message to his planet, or wherever he lived before.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Following procedure would make them lose, being off-books is the only way to stop Drill or whoever he is.

ReplyDeleteI think is the same Drill.
ReplyDeleteLena is such an idiot.
ReplyDeleteThey're dealing with a technopath, they're basically unstoppable.
ReplyDeleteYou think?
ReplyDeleteThat's true, the only way to stop them is to send some kind enhanced EMP to Drill's planet somehow and blow that planet up.
ReplyDeleteBecause an alien entity threatened to kill her child?

ReplyDeleteOh then ok yeah i could agree with that.

What the guy did may have incapacitated him in some way. That may be why there is a 30 year gap between Drill's "visits".
ReplyDeleteI didn't think she'd do it.

ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! I hated that Sean became normal, he was so awesome as the mysterious John Doe.

ReplyDeleteIt makes sense.
ReplyDeletedisobeying orders to save the world is a long way from treason. My first thought was...is he working for the aliens too?
ReplyDeleteIt honestly wouldn't surprise me LOL
