Ehh I wasn't impressed, the first 15 minutes and the last 10 were good. The rest was just filler stuff, and since there's 10 episodes I'm guessing there's going to be a bunch of filler stuff. The promo for the season however grabbed my attention.. that looked good. Dont hate the voice they are using, but not love it either.
I saw alot of potential tonight I thought it was great.....I wasn't bored once while watching it. Right now I think it's the Asian girl (sorry for puting labels I don't know her name)
"Some guys like sports I like serial killers” - Okay this was weird, like creepy!
The music on this show is pretty awesome!
Lol at Siri calling Pottery Barn instead of 911 and this comes after the incident where Siri says you have no friends when you ask it what 0 / 0 equals XD!
That new mask creeps me out. Lol, the teacher and the student, not going to end well haha. Nice first Ghostface phone call!
Interesting end to the episode. Also the This Season promo looks good! I'll post it on the site soon :)
Yeah this show is not for me. Too much of a original fan to like this craptastic show. The Randy knock off, the innocent/shy girl, who meets the "'hot guy" and they automatically make out only having one scene with each other, (I wasn't aware I was watching a Disney movie) the student that has the forbidden relationship with the teacher, which I gotta say was really disappointing. I usually love student/teacher scandalous relationships, but these two had no chemistry whatsoever, I didn't find the teacher attractive at all, and Brooke was soooo eye roll worthy. Through every scene she was in. The parent with a "deadly secret", and the lesbian that gets outed against her will, thus being talked about through the entire high school, like she's the only gay person in that entire school. (Rolls eyes) And the dialogue, omg the dialogue. And the worst of it all....the voice that sounds like Stephen Hawking instead of an actual serial killer with a vendetta.
Yeahhh, I can't even give it my 3 episode trial run. It's not for me. Sorry Bex Taylor Klaus and Tracy Middendorf, still love you guys though. Everyone else who liked it, enjoy the rest of the season.
I think it was well ok but I seen so many horror movies and TV show for all most half my life that it just the same old same old and I seen the OG Scream in theaters god I am getting old. Like the music and the voice on the phone I was hoping it was the same guy that did the movies but I do not know.
That was so amazing, I loved every moment! I was worried the acting would be bad but it wasn't. The Ghostface voice was good too. It felt so much like the movies, I can't wait for more :) With so many great names behind it too, it was bound to be excellent. The season promo looks amazing as well.
Yeah I don't do MTV shows, and I'm just too much of a fan of the actual Franchise. (I've seen every single one in theaters from the day it came out) The cast didn't do it for me either, and it really just tried to be "Scream" and it just didn't work, not for me at least. I fear this show will ruin the reputation of the franchise, for the younger generation. Which is just a real shame. Some things should just not be touched. Sigh.
I just can't bring myself to watch this show. I am a huge fan of the movies, though! When Scream 4 came out, they had an app for the Scream voice, I never did get the chance to use it because I was stuck in the dark ages with a flip phone for the looooooooongest time and by the time I finally upgraded to a smart phone, the app didn't work anymore...
I'm a big fan of the movies and I loved the pilot episode. I liked the references, little disappointed with the mask, wish it was closer to the original, but everything else was really promising. Can't wait to see more!
I say just watch it to throw it a bone, and make up your own mind about it. Shrugs. Maybe you'll like it, and if you don't, well you can yell at me for making you watch it. Haha
checked it out and thought that it was pretty good, hitting all the "slasher/teen movie" tropes and then going meta-ish and poking fun at themselves (via the serial killer nerd guy)... fairly fun ep, but really wonder if can keep it up over a season as like the movie nerd said: slasher movies burn bright, but fast... I might sample a few more eps
The opening murder sequence was nicely done. Unfortunately the rest didn't keep me interested. Most of the performances were only okay. I thought the young woman playing the first victim was one of the better performers. I was sorry she got killed off so soon. I wanted to like this a lot more than I did because I'm a fan of Bex Taylor-Klaus.
Yeah not impressed. It was fine, but a bit too much of everything. The characters are likable (especially the 2 leading ladies) but I'm missing something to keep me really interested. Will check out ep 2 but not really sure about this.
I have to say it was awesome. I was hesitant about it at first but I was impressed. It feels like you can't trust anybody but I already have my fave characters picked out: Emma, Kieran, Noah and Audrey. Also, I'm all up for Emma and Kieran (Kemma?)
I did feel that they were trying to fit too many characters into one episode and not crazy about the mask. But overall, I believe it has potential and can't wait to see the rest.
I'm going to stick to it and see if the rest of the episodes improve. To be honest, though, the actors' performances are too flat for me. Let's hope they get better as the weeks go by.
It wasnt good and the only two regular cast members playing teenagers that can act are Willa Fitzgerald and Bex Taylor-K, but I will probably keep watching.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI really that.
ReplyDeleteI really like Bex Taylor Klaus’ character.

I enjoy it nice for a summer show like the Emma character and Audrey character overall good pilot
ReplyDeleteDamn it. I knew something was on tonight.

ReplyDeleteI didn't even watch it. it just looks like it would be terrible. AND it's on MTV....Which hasn't been the same since the end of the '90s....

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of the movies, too. Even liked Scream 3 a lot, which many people didn't care for.

ReplyDeleteI actually loved Scream 3. I loved them all. Scream 2 definitely my least favorite.
ReplyDeleteI do a Jack Bauer every time I miss a show of mine, too....
ReplyDeleteDamn it!

ReplyDeleteHow about Teen Wolf, not for you?
ReplyDeleteDid YOU use the Ghostface voice? It sounded really fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah not impressed. It was fine, but a bit too much of everything.

It was decent

If I said i dont do MTV shows, WHY would you ask me if i like Teen Wolf? That's just stupid.
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteMeh. Didn't like nor hate it. Gonna watch the second ep to see if it keeps me interested
ReplyDeleteThey skirt the edge of the fourth wall without quite talking to the audience but I expect they'll have a few twists to keep even movie fans guessing - while still meeting all the cliché criteria. I thought it was pretty good for a first episode... whether I continue will probably depend on episode two or maybe three.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to stick to it and see if the rest of the episodes improve. To be honest, though, the actors' performances are too flat for me. Let's hope they get better as the weeks go by.

ReplyDeleteThe talk show host Conan made a joke about Scream: "You scream, I scream, We all scream, why did they make this?"
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd love it LOL
ReplyDeleteYeah that was a good one.
