The more I see it the more I tend to like Major Crimes over The Closer. Where Brenda was a blunt force instrument Sharon is subtle and surgical. And Amy is far more interesting than David ever was.
How does this show keep getting better every week?!? I'm so spoiled, I loved it Sykes tonight protecting that little girl, and how nothing gets passed the team and Captain Raydor helped her out. This team is a family and I just love it!!!
Every week I say that one episode was my favorite so far, hahaha... and this week it happened again, so AWESOME episode. OMG, great case, all tension, nothing predictable and GREAT Shandy scenes ♥. OMG, I loved it, loved it so much!!!
Completely agree. I also couldn't help thinking that Brenda would have somehow outed the witness to make sure that she solved the case; I don't think she would have worked as hard as Sharon did to get around needing the witness. I absolutely loved The Closer, but Brenda's questionable ethics and lack of concern for witness (remember, using her niece to extract info from a dying boy) drove me nuts. I really do like MC and Sharon better.
Eh, I think Brenda would have protected a child witness. But I think she would have released the guy who killed the taco truck vendor like she did in the Baylor case. Brenda and Sharon both walked a fine ethical line. The difference was Sharon knows it and does everything she can to at worst only walk on the line, Brenda blurred and redrew the line.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, i can't wait for more of this season. And the Alice story is great to be told.
ReplyDeleteDid Sharon actually understand Andy was asking her on a date? Guess we'll see next week...

ReplyDeleteOh, I think she definitely understood it. That's why she was giggling/trying to calm herself walking away.
ReplyDeleteYeah, she understood. There was a moment afterwards where I think she was clearly pleased yet surprised Andy asked.
