And what is it with these endings this season? I need the next episode already.
Julian is one shady guy and everything at New Delphi was intense. The fight scenes in New Delphi were awesome. Loved seeing Noma kick ass.
I also love that Claire got the upper hand on David. (Speaking of - David is definitely going crazy.)
It is interesting/weird how attached 8 balls are to their hosts' belongings. It's almost like they don't just want to take the body for themselves, but be the person as well. Or, at least, really want to pretend to be them.
I had a feeling Laurel was going to be Michael's love interest, but from spoilers for the next episode and the promo, I don't think it's going to go far (at least not any time soon). I really want to know how Laurel is getting her messages from God though before Michael must leave town but I don't think we'll get it.
Mallory got dark with their sacrifices this episode. They will do anything to keep that bonfire burning, and that's a bit scary.
Also I must say I of course loved the part where Michael talked about Alex.
While I expected Anika to do the deed on Rose the 8-Ball, the way they executed the scene (no pun intended) was still surprising, which is a good thing. :D
Love this show! Michael is so very human, the higher angels all seem to be which is very interesting and different. A lie meant to keep his identity secret led to that woman being killed. After this episode and the preview for next week I'm thinking this is a cult - all the signs are there. It looks like even Michael is going to be pulled in because he's in such a vulnerable state, filled with guilt, remorse, a feeling of failure, and loss of his faith in the Father, himself and humanity. In short, he feels lost and cults feed on that. Can't wait for next week!
Somehow I doubt Laurel is getting messages from God. There has to be another explanation - maybe she's an empath, or psychic. Plus, there's a lot we don't know about these people who, as I said above, are beginning to sound like a cult. Controlling, confessing, rules for the "common good", power in the hands of one person. How did she get to be leader anyway? Why - and how - did four leaders die in 25 years? That seems unrealistic to me. I believe in God but I think humans are behind the workings of the town of Mallory. I'm dying to find out!
Amazing episode. Michael is gonna be the doom of that little town. He was the caused Haper had to die, the poor thing. Pete has no clue what is happening. I like him xD Claire and Anika are a great team, it's so sad Anika is playing her, i hope Claire sees Anika's real intentions soon. How is that the lower angels can have some sense of humanity in them learning to live amongs humans, without being trained like dogs. I like that
Good question! We only have the word of the current leader about this "prophet". People make stuff up to control people who are lost and afraid and need something to believe in that they think will protect them, and make them feel they belong to something "special". There are so many questions about this town and its people that screams "cult" and that makes this storyline so interesting. More will be revealed!
Absolutely thrilling! Love the actors and the writers have really expanded the storyline this season. It was great S1, but this season is a whole new level of excitement. Well written, acted, and wonderful sets and loads of action! Can't miss it! Dominion has it all! 👍
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Totally AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI've been hook from Ep. 1 S1, can't wait to see the next Ep. in.
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 keeps on impressing!

ReplyDeleteWhen is Nic Bishop showing up?
Another great episode. Alex appears to be on a mission to test his powers. I can't wait to see what else he will discover he can do.
ReplyDeleteThat number 2 in Mallory is a douche. I hope he gets his comeuppance.

ReplyDeleteShould be within the next couple episodes.
ReplyDeleteI loved it! Lots of great moments. The show seems to be improving a lot over season one.

I wonder who this so-caled prophet, if he's even alive.
