    True Detective, The Strain, Ray Donovan and Humans (U.K episode).

    Bojack Horseman S2 - one of the most bleak, depressing, 'real as it gets' and yet still amazing comedy out there.

    I've finished the first season as well, I still need to watch the first 3 episodes of Season 2. How did you like it?

    As for the ones you are considering starting, I highly recommend Masters of Sex and The Last Ship. They are highly different types of shows though so I am not really sure which one to recommend over the other. I suppose The Last Ship is more bingable (I've binged the first season in the last month myself), but Masters of Sex is equally awesome.

    I actually loved whole Season + and 3 episodes of Season 2. I don't get the hate for Extant at all.


    I was pretty sure The Last Ship would be my next show, but the info about Emily Kinney getting recurring role in Masters of Sex made it strong competition.

    I like Extant. It's not the best show ever or anything like that but it is entertaining and it has great themes. I do however think it is better suited for a marathon than a weekly watch, at least in Season 1, because the pacing was a bit weird in some of the early episodes. But I liked it and I will keep watching it, I also don't get all the hate it gets, other than for the pacing maybe.

    I really don't know what to tell you about Masters of Sex vs. The Last Ship since I really like both very much but I feel they are totally non comparable due to how different they are so it is really up to you, whichever you pick you will be well served. Let me know how it goes
