    MERIDA! The scene is similar to the movie, "I'll be shooting for my own hand", I wonder what the OUAT twist will be. Also Dark Emma, her face has a sort of Evil Faeire type look to it to me (Kinda Spiderwick Chronicles). Jennifer looks excellent though!!!!

    I really hope Merida isn't Rumple's Mom. I mean it would be quite the stretch with her being brave and everything. Maybe sister or twin sister or something, not Mom. She is way to young either way. But again time is a relative term in OUAT.

    In my opinion, Brave is one of the worst Disney--let alone Pixar--movies, however, I also hated Frozen and I ended up liking the characters in Once to a point that, against my better judgement, I almost (almost) wanted to watch Frozen again. Here's hoping Once redeems something from Brave in the same way they did with Frozen.

    Jennifer Morrison is giving the performance of a lifetime as Dark Swan and that was only a sneak peek, this is going to be epic. Also, Merida!! Brave is one of my favorite Disney movies so this is such a nice surprise. Loved that little recreation of that iconic scene from the movie. Can't wait to see Adam and Eddy's take on the character! Awesome casting choice as well.

    I think Jen's performance is great, but the makeup on the Dark Swan is distractingly awful. Why does taking on the ultimate Darkness give Emma bad 90s body glitter and frosted eyebrows? It's not enough of a transformation to make her look otherwordly, like Rumple, it just looks like bad makeup.

    Just watched the clips! wOw just wOw.


    -Dark Swan clip: Amazing performance. U could see the devastation on her face after killing, that addiction to do dark stuff and how grossed out she was. Nice one. Think this isn't part of the premier but maybe that is just wishful thinking.


    -Merida clip: On spot casting. She is so joyful and positive. I hope for a back story with Snow and not with Rumple. (Let me be delusional)

    About damn time they went BACK into the Enchanted Forest...And by the looks of it that's where Emma was transported and I know Hook, Henry and Regina will all unite and be hell-bent on 'rescuing' her whatever the cost, so will Snow...SQUEAL.

    Dark Swan is amazing and very creepy. Emma looks more frightening than Rumplestinskin. I think season 5 is going to be great.

    Fun! Fun! Fun! JM's acting in that first clip was very impressive! Really nicely shot too!
    And Merida is AWESOME. Could easily become a favorite character. I never saw Brave, because I don't really care for that style of animation, but much like FROZEN, I think OUAT will show me versions that I do visually like! :)

    So I don't know what they said about "Brave" and if they are creating their own Scottish reality or if Merida and clan with be apart of Camelot, but I am going to put a crazy theory out just for the heck of it. I know a lot of people are thinking that Merida might be the new savior, but what if she's also Zelena and Robin's child from the future??? The actress' looks and the fact that they choose such a Robin Hood-esque character right after the pregnancy reveal just seems a little too coincidental, even though I am probably wrong! XD

    I must be in the minority. I'm not liking evil Emma. It was hard to see such a strong "Hero" character cruelty crush someone's heart. It's almost disturbing. I hope it's easier in the context of the show.

    Jennifer is doing a great job. I just don't love this storyline.

Also why is she in the Enchanted Forest and not Storybrooke? THAT makes no sense at ALL.     Could be, but it seems like Emma was teleported to the enchanted forest and/or Camelot, -and we know that Camelot, or characters from there, should also play a role....


    I'm wondering, if I would be right about Merida, if this is not also why GF's hair is died silver? -If Emma time travels to some future and/or if there will be flash forwards like with LOST???? I always thought maybe Camelot would be different somehow in that some see it or refer to it as "Paradise" and thus Arthurian Legends have some allegorical significance. Something pertaining to the future or a possible future could be a way to do that, especially if it/time can be undone and/or re-written. (Which isn't really a stretch IMO because both of what the end of season 3 and season 4 began to open up to and with what fans learned from OUATiW)

    I missed it too, but I thought maybe as much when they promoted the other two. I don't know if they just changed their minds about what direction to go in with him or what, but I was disappointed at how they underscored him last season, but that was really my only complaint.


    I still hope they do something with him and perhaps some of the wonderland cast eventually. Wonderland had some neat contradictory mythos to ONCE (the spell book, NYXE and the Well of Wonders) that I would love to see it get crossed over. Let alone I still think it would be a treat to see Rumple & Regina with Jafar & Anna (and a secretly hope for the Japperwacky to come to storybrook and get loose!). I don't know, maybe if we get a season six, the characters can go to Wonderland--might not be a bad place to end it for Regina and Hook...

    It might be wishful thinking as usual, but if H & K were ever thinking about a future reality or flash forwards, now might not be a bad time to do it, since they have had quite a nice build up to it, from Zelena casting a spell from the past that allowed Elsa to travel forward in time and Zelena a new way to stay alive by pretending to be someone else brought forward (plan b, which I am not sure if we knew what whole plan actually was??), and then we have the "false memories/new reality" aspect of Emma and Henry for a time via new curse, and then the Author with a way to create a secondary alternate/false reality with a whole false history, it seems plausible to somehow jump ahead!


    It might also be why Goodwin is sporting that silver fox hair too!

    I read Adam and Eddy said something about a split personality and that the dark one will manifest differently in Emma than in Rumple. I'm picturing something like how Rumple switched between himself and Neal after he absorbed Neal into his body. Like two entities in the same body but not merged, switching back and forth from Emma to the dark one. I'm hoping that good Emma stays good and the one doing the heart crushing is solely the dark one.

    Lose the eyebrows guys...they don't work. Neither do the shoulder pads.

    She needs to be sleeker with enough of the old Emma around the edges that you find yourself questioning whether or not she's really turned...until it's too late.
