  1. It's looking a lot better then I thought it was going to look. I wasn't even interested before this trailer and now I want to watch it so that's a good thing.

  2. There are some nice moments. But I need a HQ version to figure out what is going on (blind as a bat). Still looks neat as far I see.

  6. Funny how Will Smith looks the most out of place lol. Harley looks amazing though.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Harley looks incredible! Margot Robbie's gonna kill it

    ReplyDelete
  8. IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!! After seeing Dawn Of Justice trailer and now this, I am just so excited for next year!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Same here, i got the gist but all i really remember from the trailer is the INCREDIBLE Harley Quinn.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah that cage scene seems neat. We'll have to wait and see how the final product looks.

  11. wahhh I love it! same for the Deadpool trailer it was amazing!! I am so pumped!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Was the Deadpool trailer posted somewhere too? Can't seem to find it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. it's a veeeeerrry bad quality :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkJWO9RQAus

  14. Leto killed it for me, I have chills from that smile.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Looks like Harley Quinn's going to steal the show, which is quite alright with me.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I...love...Harley Quinn!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Smith was the least interesting part

but holy hell! Leto totally creeped me out, perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Why hasn't WB taken this down yet?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Margot is going to be amazing and my interest for this movie has been restored.

    ReplyDelete
  20. that it's all of us watching that trailer in jus LQ.

    ReplyDelete
  21. He was awesome. "I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you really, really bad."

    ReplyDelete
  22. would love to know who he's saying it to, Todd? Breaking Harleen to turn her into Harley.

But yeah, his performance is probably going to be brilliant.

    Still pretty bitter about Deadshot

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm cool with Smith he's a good actor. And charismatic. Plus there's nothing we've seen here that he'll be bad. But Leto sounds great. And Harley looks pretty damn cool. Don't think it's Jason, since while he's apparently in Suicide Squad. Bruce I believe is mourning his death in BvS. Though that could help explain why Bats is cameoing in Suicide Squad.

    ReplyDelete
  24. And they just did.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It was up for awhile, any chance they'd throw in and hq version?

    ReplyDelete
  26. WOW!!! Everything about that trailer was freaking amazing including that awesome song choice. Margot is already the perfect choice for Harley (can I marry her already?) and Batman on top of the Jokermobile and Jared as the Joker has me squealing like a little girl. Can it be 2016 already?!

Makes what's been on a certain fourth place low rate network look like a high school play.

  28. Very excited for the Suicide Squad.

WB we're having a fit that someone had leaked the trailer. Glad they officially released it tho.

  30. The general guy talking to Waller played Rick Flagg on Smallville!

    ReplyDelete
  31. And now it's back in hq!

    ReplyDelete
  32. wow joker looks absolutely ridiculous at @2:14

    ReplyDelete
  33. Freakin twisted!

  35. weeping and cheering as i build me a time machine to watch the movie now! I CANNOT WAIT!

    ReplyDelete
  36. WOW that is HILARIOUS!!!!!! Ted Whitall on Suicide Squad movie when he played Rick Flag on Smallville LOL

    ReplyDelete
  37. Harley Quinn makes everything in this trailer and then Jared Leto in the end. The whole thing is great. The music, the tone, but I'm already girl crushing on Quinn.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Lol I mentioned that below!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah Harley Quinn's the high of the trailer, i can't see much of Leto as The Joker yet.

    ReplyDelete
  40. You and everyone else!

    ReplyDelete
  41. SO is that when Todd becomes Red Hood?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Totally! Distracting that Quinn's a really pretty actress LOL

    ReplyDelete
  43. Omg!!! this is so awesome!!! Best trailer of the year next to the trailer for Star Wars.

Batman v Superman trailer was good too, but the trailers for Star Wars and Suicide Squad are incredible!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love the part where she holds the bat and cocks it like a shotgun!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Looks really awful.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I wanna see this "really, really bad!"

    ReplyDelete
  47. Harley Quinn and the Joker is all i care about.

    ReplyDelete
  48. He apparently has a role. It could be a flashback, or he could be Red Hood. I don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Jason becomes Red Hood after being ressurected by Ra's in the Lazarus Pit, he goes insane, returns to Gotham only to find out that Bruce has not only NOT killed the Joker but also kind of swept his memory under the rug.

Really it's a son returning home to find his father having moved on with a new family

    ReplyDelete
  50. I really hope that they go down the Red Hood arc with Ra's instead of doing what they apparently did in Arkham Knight, I've only heard of it but I'm not hot on the game now

    ReplyDelete
  51. It actually makes a lot of sense in Arkham Knight (he's also Red Hood, but emotionally it works plus Jason does redeem himself more or less). And the game itself (long as yo don't play PC but that'll be fixed) is terrific. If it were me I'd make the solo Batman film they're doing into a Red Hood story and include Leto.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yeah... not 100% sure about this one. Leto is kinda a "reverse Heath Ledger" for me. I was thrilled when Leto was cast originally, but now I'm kinda worried. Doesn't help that will Will Smith just looks out of place! Though it is still way too soon to tell though.

But besides that, everything else looks AMAZING!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Honestly. It's meh for me. I want to be excited...but I'm just not.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I know that it makes sense but they were promising the Arkham Knight to be an original character back when everyone already was speculating about it being Jason.

I would love to see Under the Red Hood being made into a movie (Jensen Ackles as Jason would fit as well given Afflecks age and the time gap)

    ReplyDelete
  55. And it was in a way an original character. Arkham Knight identity was original as was the alteration to Jason's story. They had to throw some people off. Ackles as great as he was is too old. He's 37. You need early to mid 20's. If he were longer okay (though I new younger actor could use a break), but he doesn't look 20's. Especially since Bruce in this is in his 40's. And traditionally at least a decade if not a had older than Dick Grayson.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Bruce looks at least 50+ in the BvS trailer and given the material that's actually a pretty believable age. But yeah, Jensen is probably too old...god...I don't want to think who they'll get if they indeed go younger.

I'm so sick of Hollywood getting younger and younger with its characters....

    ReplyDelete
  57. It's not hollywood. It's literally his age in the comics. He's mid-late twenties at most. Just like with Dick. I'd say Bruce looks at most mid- 40's. His face is still quite youthful.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Damn, but don't you get back to normal after a while from being resurrected from the Pit?

    ReplyDelete
  59. the original cast photos made it seem bad, this trailer made it seems tragically so. the hokey DC cinematic universe is not for me.

    ReplyDelete
  60. he did get back from it, but still he was frustrated with Batman never killing the Joker.

The Joker murdered Jason, a person that saw Bruce as a father figure. But after his ressurection at the hands of Ra's he sees Batman move on from him. Takes a new Robin under his wing and let's the Joker live despite all the lives he has taken.

That's why Jason turns into an anti-hero. Unlike Batman he's not opposed to killing, he kills the bad guys

here's a great scene of Jasons reasoning

  61. I was going with at least 30 in "Under the Red Hood" but I'm not heavy on Batman lore.

I'm good with the new Spidey but the F4 reboot rubs me the wrong way, the only actor I know is good is Jamie Bell but Miles Teller is a pretty one-note actor while I've never seen Kate Mara or Michael B Jordan on screen.

Agreed on Ant Man, Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas are dream castings

    ReplyDelete
  62. As a massive Batman fan I'm kinda really up on stuff like that. But yeah he's mid-late 20's,. Dick' and Barbara are the same and Tim is early 20's usually. Kate Mara is great in House of Cards, and Jordan was great in Chronicle.

  63. Looks better than I expected. Not liking the Joker look at all, Leto sounds like him though so that's something I suppose. Will Smith seemed like the most stand-out oddity of the trailer. Harley... I miss the old look of her, not the more modern look of her, still think Margot is quite fitting for the role.

    ReplyDelete
  64. There was only two things i liked from the trailer, everything else was disappointing for me. And i swear to you i watched the trailer all day. I studied it hoping it would change my mind and it just didn't. It's just blah to me, and i'm still more interested in this than BvS. This trailer is better. (even though it's doing nothing for me)

    ReplyDelete
  65. I feel an internal struggle here. I want to like it but it didn't really blew me away.
The trailer barely tells U anything, this slow motion version doesn't reveal anything about the dynamic of the movie and seriously Will Smith isn't convincing me at all, biggest casting miss I saw in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Not feeling the Joker.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Heath Ledger's Joker is the only one I've liked.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Todd would've killed Bruce?!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Same here, Quinn though...

    ReplyDelete
  70. Blow* Actually the trailer says a lot. And F*ck Will Smith! He annoyed the crap outta me in this trailer. I only like the song and Viola. The one thing i was looking forward to is disappointing me a lot. Hate her look, she didnt do the voice, and they changed her origin. And Joker, hate it so much. I can't stress enough how much i hate his look. I've hated it since we first saw it in a picture and somehow seeing it in the trailer made it worse. Not to mention when i close my eyes, i hear Ledger, not Leto. And his tidbit performance didn't thrill me at all.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Nope. Not one bit.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Viola of course didn't disappoint and I agree the music gave the promo a good vibe.
You disliked the outfit from day 1 and was always very vocal about it ;-) , and don't like it either (no matter how sexy she looks, I would've preferred the onepiece). Maggie is a sweet girl, watched the movie with her and Will about a month ago and she was okay still that was a comedic role. Where did U get that they've changed her backstory? I don't know much about her so U have to fill me in.
Yeah Joker didn't raise my pulse either, quite the flat line. Don't find it fitting that he is half naked, Jared looks good but find it unnecessary and just pure crap. I've expected more.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I actually wished the song was released. I kept trying to find it yesterday but no luck. Guess I'll' have to wait. And IMO, I feel they just copied Marvel with the "slow angelic music" for a movie trailer. (I'm more of a Marvel girl so I spotted that right away Smh). Idk of her acting, I personally never wanted to see Focus, and I still don't, but I was counting on her since she is in fact playing the number 1 DC female villian of all time! And she's already disappointed me. I hate that they went the stupid video game look. (I'm not blaming that on her) for her cinematic debut, they definitely should've went with her original look. She doesn't look sexy at all, she looks like a hot mess. (But I do give her props for walking in those heels). It's very easy to tell they changed her origin, if you know her and the trailer. Harley fell in love with The Joker while he was locked up in Arkham. She was a intern in that facility, and a psychologist. She had many visits with the Joker, and he always told her "his story" so she developed a huge obsession with him. (Sort of a stockholm syndrome) And feel deeply in love with him. She'd even help him escape Arkham a few times. But he always came back, (obviously), and one time he came back, and she actually quit her job, dropped her name, became criminally insane, and her one piece suit, that we all know, all too well, and became "Harley Quinn." (Her real name is Dr. Harleen Quinzel Or Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel M.D. if you want to be more specific)

From then on the rest was history. It was her and Joker forever and always. She has an incredibly unhealthy attachment to him. And he loves her in his own psychotic way, hahahaha, but they have an abusive relationship, but he does show his gentler side to her once in awhile. But she is really insane.

Anyways, in this trailer, they're not showing that. They are showing him torturing her, and she's scared out of her mind. You see hIm slam her down on the gurny, and start to torture her with shock therapy equipment. While she's still a doctor. You see there's a breakout at Arkham, (or rather a break in to get someone inside) that she has nothing to do with. The Joker doesn't torture her to become "Harley", not when he was her patient, she does that all by herself. And when she fell in love with him, he used her feelings to his advantage, but she was never petrified of him like she is in this lackluster trailer. (Scared of his actions is one thing, but she's also stood her ground with him lots of times) I can definitely tell they went a different route as far as her origin is concerned just by those scenes alone. It's upsetting to me.

  74. Thx for the little DC history lesson. I see how much U love HQ and how much it bugs U they are not making them justice.
About the song in thetrailer I've read somewhere it is a Bee Gees cover of the song It's a Joke or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  75. You're welcome. I believe they'll switch it to, instead of the Joker, mentally manipulating her through sessions (with not much force i might add), he's going to physically torture her into insanity. Which i just ughhh. I want to be wrong on this so much. smh

As for the song, I got it. I got the artist and the cover. Thank you though. = )
