  1. WONDER WOMAN!!!!! Gal Gadot is stunning :)

  2. It looks pretty good. I feel like DC is rushing things to try and catch Marvel and its going to hurt them in the long run.

    ReplyDelete
  3. So tired of the dark, broody and serious manpain. This takes itself so seriously that I laughed throughout the whole trailer loool.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Interesting that Bruce Wayne was in Metropolis during the events at the end of "Man of Steel".

Looks pretty good, but I'm still nervous this movie will be more concerned with launching DC's slate of films instead of being a good movie in and of itself.

  5. This movie is going to be a trainwreck. A glorious trainwreck, but still. At least it should be entertainingly ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Much better than the first trailer. Wonder Woman was probably the most exciting thing about the trailer. That and Jeremy Irons... because you can't go wrong with Jeremy Irons. Still hesitant about Ben Affleck, but I'll reserve judgment until this comes out. However, I will say that based on the trailer, Jesse Eisenberg is totally wrong for Lex.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Dark, broody and gritty. Just the way I like my superhero movies.

    ReplyDelete
  8. What a trailer!!! Magnificent!
So he uses the upgraded suit to fight him. Interesting. WW looks tremendous and seems to have a strong role. Looking forward to the movie.

Of course the best line goes to the Villain/Lex: Devils doesn't come from the hell beneath us, they come from the sky.

  9. People are too obsessed with the Marvel conceptualization of what a CBM "should" be like when CBMs should also feel like this as well. To do an "epic" even remotely right, you need to give it such a tone as this trailer shows and that's what WB/DC is good at with looking at the likes of The Dark Knight Trilogy and Watchmen.

    ReplyDelete
  10. If it turns out to be DC's Iron Man 2, you'll be right. Only time will tell.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Michael Rosenbaum is the right choice but guess DC didn't want him in their film universe

    ReplyDelete
  12. You just know the people who has bashed this film from the very beginning won't acknowledge they were wrong if/when the film ends up being amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Choking.. on.. awesomeness..blacking..out...

    ReplyDelete
  14. I still hate everything about this movie..

    ReplyDelete
  15. In and out of costume, beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  16. it looks AMAZING!!, and if Aquaman shows up too, it would be just perfect to me!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. The Robin suit! Maybe Red Hood will show up in a Batman movie at some point.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Still too grimdark and serious, but this trailer was much better than the first teaser. Either way, I'll be watching in March of next year.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Did you want to take my money WB/DC? Because that is how you get my hard earned money.

My mind was not ready for this!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jesse Eisenberg is my favorite Lex Luther yet

    ReplyDelete
  21. Everything looks amazing except that it seems a bit convoluted for one film.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hm. Lex Luthor looks and sounds like a joke. Lex is not a joke.
The best line for me "You don't owe this world a thing Clark. You never did."

    ReplyDelete

The end makes me think he wanted to do a Moriarty sort of villan, but he is no Andrew Scott. Fail

    ReplyDelete
  24. Apparently he's a cameo in a cell.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And the best thing about the suit? Straight out of TDKR.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I very much doubt that.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It should take itself seriously. It's very serious content. Plus you can't have a light movie with a modern Batman.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This trailer reaffirms a lot of my faith in Affleck. He seems like he'll do a good job. Eisenberg still unsure, but I feel like it could work but I need more context.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Apparently Jason's dead right now. Well at least as much as Bruce knows.

    ReplyDelete

Someone had leaked the suicide squad trailer, but now it's been taken down. D:

    ReplyDelete
  31. Aquaman will make an appearance? Don't make me watch this. I cannot stand to see Superman oppressed.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yeah apparently he's in a LexCorp facility. How is he oppressed? He's beloved by half the planet and hated by the other. Kinda natural when you're a physical God from the sky whose reveal incidentally led to thousands dying by other aliens.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Dude wait until the Suicide Squad trailer comes out. You'll want to take all your money.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I was talking in terms of the gov't making him out to be a villain.
I do want to see Aquaman's cameo. I hope they show it in a later clip or trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't think they're necessarily doing that. And if they do? So what this movie when him and Bats team up will prove the naysayers wrong about Superman.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ok, you asked. I answered. I'm sure it will be epic for you.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I have no doubt it will do well and I hope it does.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That's the point. The whole jokey tone is Marvel's signature. They want to be as different as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Then don't comment on it or watch it. Really that simple. I know it's hip to hate things in today's hipster era, but no one will force you to watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Way to keep an open mind.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm all for some seriousness in my comic book movies, but at the end of the day the movie's got to be enjoyable. And someone like Superman is supposed to be a beacon of hope, the opposite of Batman. If Killer Kal's just his superpowered doppelganger then what's the point?

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's not a Marvel movie, sweetie. DC's world is, for the most part, very serious.... especially when it involves Batman. That's why Nolan's movies were such a hit.

    ReplyDelete
  43. He's not some serial killer. Seriously. He kills Zod to protect a family and humanity and shows immense pain and guilt over it. And as so many have said he WILL NOT too it again. Because he knows what it's like to do so, the pain, the guilt, why he can't ever kill again (and yes there in that moment was no other way they had to restrain or stop Zod). In this trailer alone Superman is shown saving people, giving many hope and doing good. Also he's killed around three people in the comics before.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm definitely going to see it but it looks completely overstuffed. I really hope Wonder Woman is well-integrated into the narrative and not just tacked on to check off another box before her own movie.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Seriousness is not enjoyable? You must have hated the Nolan Batman movies then.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Awwww man seriously???? I was waiting for that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Okkk, I didn't smile at all with that trailer for BvS, until I saw WW. And I quickly got very annoyed with Jesse as Lex. It just turned me off.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Like Wonder Woman and Superman......... Batman under Ben. No.

    ReplyDelete
  49. It's f*cking awesome. There's a five second Joker cameo and a short Bats one. And they're great. Oh and the Harley stuff is sick.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well Bats is out of retirement.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think it's still out there. Twas cool.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's still blah to me. My excitement for this film, left the building long time ago. As for the SS trailer, iI just caught 20 seconds of it before it was taken down now. It was LQ. They tried to be slick with not having Harley speak, just going "huh", Which was extremely disappointing for me. B/c that's the one thing i've been looking for. And yeah, saw Leto, still hate it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I doubt it. I've been trying to find it for 10 min. AnI'm still only getting the same scenes. Not a full trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Well, how long is the full trailer, b/c that's what I'm' looking for.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Alex Mack wears a hatJuly 12, 2015 at 1:16 AM

    yup. yup.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I saw a little. But still looking for the full one.

    ReplyDelete
  57. 2:00 minutes. And it is epic.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Alex Mack wears a hatJuly 12, 2015 at 1:18 AM

how long was the one you watched? this ones 3 minutes... https://vimeo.com/133237497

    ReplyDelete
  59. And my excitement for this comment well… I'm sorry but this film and Suicide Squad look far too good to me. And Harley actually does speak. So don't watch it then (though you will anyway because let's face it it's BvS, pretty much anyone who gives even the slightest shit about comics will).

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well almost everyone who watches movies well see this eventually. But I wouldn't be surprised if you saw this in theatres despite your lack of enthusiasm.

    ReplyDelete
  61. idk ill see how he works out for Lex because he normally plays the same character in all his films. Casting choices seem all wrong in this one. But felt the same for Ledger as the joker before I saw the film so who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Thank You!! I feel much better now. Only thing that turned me off was Will Smith. Other than that, I can deal. My trailer was only 42sec.

    ReplyDelete
  63. That's a neck snap

    http://i.imgur.com/0FOWeFd.gif

    ReplyDelete
  64. No, what I mean is, I'm not one of those "eventually" people. When it comes to big movies, especially Marvel/DC. (More Marvel), I see it opening night. And I get my ticket weeks in advance before the premiere. IN THIS CASE.....b/c of my lack of enthusiasm, "I will see it eventually" and I have no interest in seeing it in theaters. And if I do, I won't be the one spending money on the ticket.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Don't know. But I'm doubting he's dead given the way his body reacts and because well it's Batman (and he has pulled non fatal neck snaps before in comics).

    ReplyDelete
  66. Resounding meh. Batman fighting Superman is beyond stupid. Why can't we focus on superheroes being SUPER HEROES instead of this stupid fucking gritty dark bullshit?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Still not big enough. Also, I don't think she looks intimidating.

    ReplyDelete
  68. A lot of action scenes. I hope there is some grain of a coherent and layered story there, too.

    ReplyDelete
  69. They've already pissed all over Superman bringing in Batman (is this even a Superman sequel..? Also, the film is titled 'Batman vs Superman' - Why is Batman's name coming first ?).
I think it's going to be all about the collective and little about the core battle between Superman & Batman.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Don't think he would entertain the idea, either. Cash withstanding, he claimed he doesn't like being typecast.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Neither approach is the only "right" approach, you know. Nothing wrong with there being room for both kinds of take on CBM.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Looks good. Hopefully it delivers.

    ReplyDelete
  73. HOLY CRAP THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe Affleck won't ruin Batman and Gadot looks crazy badass!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Do you think Affleck can take on the Dark Knight and Gadot Wonder Woman?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Same on Affleck and Eisenberg

    ReplyDelete
  76. From what I've seen yes.

    ReplyDelete
  77. So you're holding out hope that he'll be good as Luthor? I pretty much wrote him off after his "red capes are coming" LOL. Then again i was spoiled with the GREATNESS that Michael Rosenbaum brought as Lex Luthor that anyone else is an amateur compared to him.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wait you think it's Todd and not Robin? So if Jason Todd's dead does that mean he's Red Hood already?

    ReplyDelete
  79. Yeah i don't usually feel this but when Clark killed Zod, i felt his pain, is that weird? Don't get me wrong i HATED that he killed at ALL, but i felt better when someone explained to me that that moment was the origin of sorts of Superman's "Don't Kill" rule.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Pretty soon to like him already, why do you like him already. You never saw Smallville?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Same on both, i mean did you see his clothes?! He looks like a spoiled teenager, and that RIDICULOUS line at the end?

    ReplyDelete
  82. That was the point I believe. Not just to show why he truly will never kill. But why emotionally and in every way he's knows it's wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Ivan Jason was Robin when he died.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Okay after i saw the moment in the theater i was so pissed for months until i think a few weeks ago, but now that understand it i feel somewhat okay with it. It wasn't just an origin story for Superman but also his moral and character.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I would not say the trailer is enough info, but mostly as i've never seen him play a character that was not identical to his previous roles yet. I have not watched smallville in ages so that might help. At this point, watching smallvile might be like watching it like i've never seen an episode before.

    ReplyDelete
  86. My bad, i meant Dick, i forgot his alter ego is ROBIN LOL, yeah so i meant Dick ha!

    ReplyDelete
  87. For me i need to see more of him as Luthor too but seeing him in this trailer is not enough for me, he sounds like spoiled rich teenager AND he has hair. Not a wig but HAIR, grown from his head, Lex Luthor is BALD, and that idiotic last line is grating on me. Not to mention he looks way too young to play him.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I'm sorry to say but Will Smith is NOT Deadshot, but Harley Quinn?! SHE"S SO DELIGHTFULLY INSANE!!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  89. I didn't see enough of Leto to see The Joker honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm still reserving judgement on Smith. But yes to Her as Harley.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I saw enough to make me like him. But yeah I need more.

    ReplyDelete
  92. How hard must it be to find an actress to be believable as a psychotic somewhat funny Harley Quinn?

    ReplyDelete
  93. I enjoyed all three of them in fact, even the third which wasn't so great. Regardless, I'm still seeing BvS and rooting for DC to create an quality and entertaining cinematic universe. Does it have to mirror the Marvel style to a T and have more fun and goofiness? Absolutely not. It would be great to see a different take on what comic book films should be like. I'm just hoping the DC films aren't self-serious to the point of caricature.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Relax, I was mostly joking with that nickname, and I'm well aware of Superman killing people as a last resort in the comics. However, that heat vision blast he fired at Batman didn't look remotely non-lethal. Just sayin...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Just watched the Comic Con trailer and...just going by the trailer there are elements of the story that just don't make any sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  96. cool trailer and I'll definitely give the movie a chance once it get's here, but I'm still on the fence as much will obviously hinge on how well the story(ies) are written/developed... Gal, still doesn't look quite WW-ish for my taste, but I will give her the benefit of the doubt...

    ReplyDelete
  97. Maybe. Maybe not. But it's been pretty clear that he's not killing again. Plus who doesn't like their Batman extra crispy?

    ReplyDelete
  98. I get the idea that the people of Earth are made nervous by Superman and want to do something to keep him from ever becoming a danger, but, what does that have to do with Batman. Why is it up to him to deal with Superman for the world? And what does any of this have to do with Wonder Woman.

For me, if the trailer can't clearly give me a good feeling for the story there's not a good story in the script.

    ReplyDelete
  99. In the beginning if the trailer it shows Zod's heat vision demolishing Wayne tower and people dying from that. Then Bruce runs into the ashes and rubble ands a little girl. Basically Bruce blames Clark and Zod's fight for those people's deaths. This combined with his innate paranoia and distrust of others, the raw anger he has over the Joker killing Jason Todd (Robin- that's what the spray paint was referring to) and the feeling of powerlessness over their deaths makes him choose to take down Superman to stop him from potentially ever hurting people or abusing his power. It's up to him because Bruce believes he must protect the world and that only he can. Diana is basically a diplomat and presumably will be involved in the gov't talks with Superman and Luthor. And will probably intervene to stop the fight. More will be revealed. From what we know it makes a lot of sense. Oh and the script was written by the guy who did Argo's so it will be good.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I was wondering how many hours does this film last. I eman for all the shit going on it looks + 2 and a half hours

    ReplyDelete
  101. Well it was written by the guy who did Argo and if you watched the trailer there's clearly a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  102. A) It makes a ton of sense given context. B) We will. Clark saves several people in the trailer alone and this film will feature him and Bats teaming up. You want to know why we get gritty? Because Batman is a very dark hero, and this depiction of both characters has to be gritty given it's going off destruction to create the conflict.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Thanks for the clarification. I did catch those elements at the beginning of the trailer but it wasn't coming together for me. In part because the way the trailer is edited I had the impression that Batman was somehow involved on the government's behalf. I'm open to it just being an unsuccessful trailer. But I'm still on the fence about the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  104. He's supposed to be Lex Luthor!?!?!?!

    Graydon just calmed me down.

    ReplyDelete
  105. It was quite successful. I got all that (except the Wonder-Woman bit) from the trailer. Lol. Batman doesn't fight for any government.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Yes. (Sigh). Doesn't change the rest of it being great.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I did. and Michael Rosenbaum was great but I didn't like Smallville's portrayal of the character.

    ReplyDelete
  108. LOL At this point the best I can promise you is to have an open mind when I watch the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Why is Aquaman in a cell?!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Why are you thinking it's Todd and not Dick?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Yeah. And sorry, i had to get off for a few hrs.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Don't hog the fence, i want to sit with you.

    ReplyDelete
  113. hahahahaha. (Sit's on fence, looks down) Oh look, beer to help us get through it. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  114. Because of the I killed your family part (death in the family), Jason Todd is always the one to die, and Bats' age.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Damn poor dude, but how did Todd become the Red Hood?

    ReplyDelete
  116. He was resurrected (in the comics but some really contrived shit and the Lazarus pit so I'm just gonna use the movie and say fully by the Lazarus pit) and was very angry so he travelled the world and trained eventually returning to Gotham to take up the mantle of the Red Hood and wage a war on crime. Unlike Batman or his allies however Jason is far more ruthless, willing to engage in murder and lethal force. As well as the use of firearms

    ReplyDelete
  117. Reminds me of the schoolyard fight I had once lol

    ReplyDelete
  118. Still not interested in seeing this movie, I still think Nolan did the best thing possible with Batman and anyone trying to tell another Batman story is a fool. The addition of Wonder Woman is the final nail in the coffin.

    ReplyDelete
  119. In all honesty, she looks better than I thought she would. I'm willing to give her a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  120. They're a fool for trying to actually tell a comic book Batman story, right. Sure why not. And the addition if Wonder Woman is cool.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Ivan he pretty much showcased Bruce's anger and rage perfectly. Plus physically the guy looks like Batman.

    ReplyDelete
  122. He's bald. It's a wig.

    ReplyDelete
  123. It's Batman V Superman (referring to both a fight and team up). And you're wrong the trailer and everything we know we focus on their conflict.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Oh yes because Wonder Woman ever looks intimidating.

    ReplyDelete
  125. For an Amazonian woman, she should. But, I still think Gadot could be bigger here.

    ReplyDelete
  126. This trailer blew my fucking mind. I was a bit skeptical of Ben Affleck as Batman but all that was erased since this trailer. He looks so badass. And that shot of Superman confronting Batman on top of the Batmobile was just about the most epic thing I've ever seen. Wonder Woman!!! So damn excited.

    ReplyDelete
  127. This trailer blew my freaking mind. I was a bit skeptical of Ben Affleck as Batman but all that was erased since this trailer. He looks so badass. And that shot of Superman confronting Batman on top of the Batmobile was just about the most epic thing I've ever seen. Wonder Woman!!! So damn excited.
