Can't wait for season 2, I'm kinda pissy that we didn't get a Gecko Brothers poster though >:( Interesting to see the pair-ups here. Santanica and Richie is understandable, Kate and Seth makes somewhat sense, I guess Carlos and Scott will stick together due to the sire-thing but I have no idea what Freddy and the Regulator are doing on the same poster? Isn't the Regulator part of the vampire-cartell? Also: where're Sex Machine and Narciso? No way Narciso won't get to show up in season 2 after what he did to Carlos and Jake Busey was at all the events, so I guess that Sex Machine will return in some capacity as well.
Sad to see Jacob gone but I guess Robert Patrick wasn't free because of Scorpion (that stupid show is prohibiting us of TWO great characters now. Doggett and Jacob :( )
From Dusk Till Dawn is one of the best vampire shows I've ever seen, not only does it maintain the charme of the original movies but also works SO WELL as a series. Can't wait to see them incorporate the plot of Texas Blood Money and The Hangmans Daughter in some way (I just hope they will, I loved both sequels and think they have the potential to make great additions to the show).
This, The Originals and The Strain are givng me hope again that the vampire genre will live on despite the tween craze
Man, I can't wait for this. I was so surprised at how much I actually enjoyed the show, and now it's almost here again. The movie is one of my absolute faves, so I wasn't expecting to like sitting through a whole season of fleshing out the same story, but holy moly was it ever a fun ride. Really loved the tangent it took, while giving a lot more explanation to the original story.
(It makes my brain itch that the posters aren't lined up in the correct order to get the two-headed snake, though.)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I miss From Dusk Till Dawn so much and need it back in my life immediately. And the Seth/Kate poster is killing me.
ReplyDeleteVery looking forward to seeing this return, don't know if I can hold off rewatching season 1 until SBS starts running promos for season 2.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he like...20 years older than Kate?

It feels like 5 years since Season 1 came out hah
ReplyDeleteNope. Seth's in his late twenties (and the ship is problematic and I don't want anything happen between them (if it does) for a long time).
ReplyDeletethat's the last thing I would want, it's a Robert Rodriguez show, he won't give in to such crappy moves to get viewers.
