Thanks to Silverbow for the heads up and TVGeekTalk for the video/information.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead

We may remember actress Natalie Brown recently as Dr. Ephraim Goodweather’s soccer-Mom ex-wife, Kelly, on FX’s The Strain. Then, her character was infected, and she’s now one of the leading blood-sucking freaks on the show. In less than 2 weeks, Natalie once again goes back to a soccer-Mom role as a guest-star on Syfy’s Dark Matter.

In the Dark Matter panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Brown’s character will appear for the 1st time in “Episode Seven.” Check out the sneak peek of the episode below. It appears that Three may not have been as big of a wretch in his past life since Brown portrays a nice, wholesome woman, and it seems she may have been Three/Marcus’ girlfriend/wife before the whole memory loss thing happened. I interviewed the Dark Matter cast at SDCC last Thursday, and Anthony Lemke, who plays Three on the show, said some of the characters would be spotlighted in upcoming episodes, with Three’s turn coming up in “Episode Seven.”

“Episode Seven” of Dark Matter airs on July 24th at 10/9c on Syfy.

  1. Finally getting to know what the characters were like before, it'll be really interesting to see how different they are and if they decide to slip back into their old life or wipe the slate.

  2. At least in Two's case I think she wants nothing more then to avoid becoming who she once was. She even introduces herself to that lady as Two, so for her I think she's happy trying to start fresh. As for the others I think the ones that have learned things about who they once were will be happy to keep being their new selves. It will be interesting to see how Three reacts to this situation. I can't wait to learn more about who this woman is and who she means to him.

On an interesting side note Two is still sporting a bandage on her neck. She is not giving up her secret anytime soon.

  3. Two wanted a fresh start from the beginning. Knowing who Portia was has become even more motivation for her to keep being Two. I love the mystery of it too and it brings a really cool element to the storytelling. I'm really interested to see how long it takes for all these secrets to start blowing up on them. Can the team survive all these reveals? It's going to be interesting when that day comes.

  4. I don't think they'll kill off any of them but with this show who knows. When the secrets are revealed there will be a ton of drama.

I'm always glad to see ratings tick up on shows I watch. I hope this keeps ticking up. This show deserves a long and prosperous run.

  7. I've seen some video on YouTube from the interview with press, but I haven't seen the panel anywhere yet. I'm hoping SyFy will eventually post an official one and if not hopefully someone there recorded it.
