    Marc always says that every villain sees himself as the hero. That's why they did the Malcolm flashback episode last season to show that he was once a good man.

    but the fan would feel sorry for him we need one that is evil and always evil. We don't need another villain who could become an anti-hero/redeem villain

    I love EVERYTHING we know about it already. I feel like it's going to be a turning point for the show. They learned a lot from season 3.

    Exactly. That's why I'm glad they stopped doing it. And for the record I never once felt bad for Malcolm or Slade after he started ruining Oliver's life. Ra's I was pretty much meh about him (except for the killing Oliver part) until the end of episode 16.

    I already admitted the real reasonS. Plural. And I don't like what you are insinuating. I am not afraid of speaking my mind and I never hid my true feelings behind false pretenses. I am an Arrow fan first and an Olicity shipper second. So when I say I'm excited about everything, I mean everything. Including, and not limited to, Olicity.

    Throught that whole interview, i was waiting for Paul to talk and he finally did and i got so happy. Despite everything else, i'm really looking forward to his SL for season 4. More specifically his reunion with Sara, and if he'll still continue to be a major dick to Oliver once he returns. Sigh...i miss Colton. I hope one day he returns, i would loveee to see his face when he sees how much Thea has evolved. That would be a priceless moment.

    Did they really bother to do anything to make Ra's al Ghul a "good guy", though? He had his "code of honor", but he wasn't the best of people, and didn't have this story as Malcolm did that would show him as a good guy once, or had drugs that affected his mind as Slade.

    The Hood/"The Hood Guy"(a killer -> The Arrow(a hero) -> The Green Arrow....maybe as a symbol?

    Of course. They get to be happy on the show and get to be light. Arrow's never done that. And it just be great for the cast. Particularly Amell.

    To be fair most villains see themselves like that. Lex Luthor, Eobard Thawne, Hunter Zolomon, Bane, Merlyn, Ra's al Ghul, etc.

    As much as I love Arrow and what it has been I'm so pumped for a lighter show and Oliver. Finally we will see Green Arrow. That and as you said everything sounds terrific.

    Yes Graydon, i know those things. Well then i'd have to agree, a sparring scene would be really nice, but i would just want them to reunite and for him to see her in action, and be proud of her. No sparring necessary. I know it's all "simple and cheesy" but sometimes i want that. I don't always want it to be hand to hand combat between lovers.

    It is just sweet seeing them being so close, especially Emily and Katie in this vid.
    They are hyping the premier a bit too much from my taste, but John was so adorable when he explained how captivating it is.
    Can't wait to for the next season 2 and a half months.

    I hope Sara will be a bit of a Bi*ch towards Quentin, after she finds out how he was treating Laurel and Team Arrow. Just to shake thinks up a bit.
    Paul posted an adorable pic of him and Katie from the first day shooting. He is such a doll.

    Not a big B, just a small one to call him out for treating Laurel that one. Just so Quentin would feel a bit terrible for behaving like he did. ^^
    Paul is such a great person or better said he seems like that.
    And what do U mean when the show wraps? The show will never end! Don't frighten me! ;-)

    It took me awhile to find the right artist. Not too long, but long enough, then to find her actual version took some time, but people have been uploaded/searching/asking for it like crazy since yesterday. Anyways, someone finally uploaded the right one, so hear ya go.

    Tis true. (wish i could say the same thing about the trailer) unfortunately i can't DL it properly. Like, i'll DL it, but then the file won't open. Ugh. But i definitely love the timing within the song. The tone's change in rhythm. It's soothing. Some have called it creepy, i call it relaxing. lol

    He wasn't a good guy. They spent too much time showing him as a noble warrior. Even when he "killed" Oliver it was because he was avenging Sara. And the whole "replacing evil with death" speech. He only started becoming a real villain at the end of 3x16. And even then he told that story about the family he was forced to leave.

    The show didn't do that though. They showed him as he is a tragic villain who once was a loving, caring father and was utterly broken by his wives' death and so became a cold, ruthless man who became willingly ti neglect his son, kill anyone possible to clean up Starling in her name. They showed why he was a villain, but they never said he's not guilty of what he's done as with Thea. The opposite they did. They merely used the realization, to shake Malcolm to his core and doubt everything he did, so he could became less of an asshole who could have moments of regret, guilt and humanity with Thea. But every character still treated him afterwards as the asshole he is and he's once again fully utterly hated by the cast. Just because a show can sympathize with a villain once or twice doesn't mean they excuse everything he's done.

    I viewed the way he killed Oliver differently. Throughout that episode, he also felt like Ollie was protecting someone else and that's why he gave Ollie an "honorable" death as well as that prayer he added...before he kicked Ollie off the ledge, lol. I never felt like Ra's was treated or handled as a noble man as all of his actions seemed cowardly.

    This was interesting. I love how they r so excited for this new chapter. Can't wait to see my Green Canary scenes, those two finally fighting by each other's side instead of w each other will be a refreshing looking forward to their new dynamics.🗽
