According to Hayley Atwell, Dominic Cooper’s Howard Stark will be back for Agent Carter season 2, alongside James D'Arcy's Jarvis.

Speaking of Agent Carter season 2, Atwell told me (DenofGeek) that “there will be repetition of characters. So Jarvis and Howard will be there with us again. Yeah, we can’t have a show without those guys.”

    Wasn't Dominic cast in another show or movie or something?


    I'm glad we'll see him again. He was a strong part of the show last season and I'd wished he had a bit more focus. Hoping for it to come this season.

    He has been cast in Preacher, which has yet to be picked up to series so I guess he will be able to fit in some Agent Carter episodes.

    I doubt that he will be a regular. And turning up for one or two episodes should be something he can fit into his schedule. Actors manage to do guest appearances on top of their main roles all the time.
    Either way: YES!!!! Looks like they get the old team back together.

    I don't care HOW they made this happen, I'm just SO HAPPY they did!!! you can't make a SHIELD origin story without Howard, there would be something missing.

    Considering AC is only 10 episodes (and I imagine Dominic won't appear in all of them - he was only in 3 out of 8 last season), and his other show, Preacher, is on AMC which means it too will have a short episode order, I imagine doing both won't be too difficult.

    BTW, Preacher, if it's greenlit, will be a bit of an MCU television event since Ruth Negga (Raina on AoS) is there too. :)

    That went without stating. Howard's too huge a part of the mythology that Agent Carter rolls in to not have him involved to some degree.

    I know Dominic Cooper's schedule (what with him leading AMC's Preacher) will make things difficult, but I'm sure they'll find a way to get him to do three or four episodes again.

    Howard seems necessary on some level simply based on the mythology (and a reason for Jarvis to be around). I'm not that big of fan of his current role or portrayal, so I can take or leave the amount of time we see him.
