Battlestar Galactica alum Michael Hogan has landed a multi-episode arc on 12 Monkeys’ second season, it was announced at the show’s Comic-Con panel on Saturday, moderated by this reporter.

Hogan, who played Saul Tigh, will portray Dr. Vance Eckland, a charismatic and intelligent scientist from the future. He’s a comrade of Dr. Jones (Barbara Sukowa), working alongside her at the temporal facility, who reveals that they may have a closer relationship than first meets the eye.

Additionally, it was announced that Todd Stashwick (Deacon), Emily Hampshire (Jennifer Goines) and Sukowa have been promoted to series regulars for season 2.

  3. I was wondering what was going to happen to this show...was pretty decent and only expect it will get better with time...

  4. About time Jones became a regular character, she's been in pretty much all episodes.
Not that happy about Deacon being a regular, though.

  5. Love that Cole might not be traveling alone and that we will see "exotic" time periods (whatever that exactly means) Glad for Michael Hogan too! He will be back on TV quite bit between this and his role in Fargo! Glad Jones is regular! (Love her) and a nude Ramse? I'm speechless! Would be cool if they could get the film cast to guest star! This panel seemed to offer a lot! Will have to watch it later!

  6. So happy there was a lot of people there! Really REALLY hoping Cole and Cassie will get to time travel together.

  7. Probably like the movie, where Cole went back during war times?

  8. I wouldn't call WWI exotic to the average viewer. I would think maybe the East or Ancient times is what they might be thinking...of course I keep wondering if there is also a further future that exists???

  9. NOOO NOT SAUL!!!!! Lol Im actually really happy to see him in a new role but he never plays a straight and narrow guy. At least in the shows that Im watched with him. He always has some type of prejudice against the group that's not human or at least strange.

  10. Like on Smallville and Teen Wolf.

  11. Same here! But Cassie better not be deteriorating like Cole was, but how can Cole time-travel, he was stripped of his power.

  12. Does the Sizzle Reel have any new scenes?

  13. He didn't go only to World War and I didn't mean that one moment in time in specific.

  14. I can't remember any other times in the movie Cole goes, except the 90's and to the first World war (where Ramsey was seemingly also sent).

Now if you mean the first season of the TV series, then ya there are a couple of locations that we have previously seen that could be labeled "exotic", but I think for the showrunners to say "exotic" now, implies *new exotic locations...
